I keep getting back to these videos... Did you only learn this by ear: no tabs, no books on hybrid picking, how to play rockabilly, etc...? I'm really amazed. Are there any tips you can give guitar players that want to learn and cop James' style? I see you have the fingerpick on your fourth finger, James has it on his third finger I think ... Correct? What are the specs of this guitar ? Reissue 52 telecaster? Broadcaster wiring? It's in the bridge position but it's not very trebly... (is this the blend position where you have the signal of the bridge pickup with some of the neck pickup? Very cool, pretty guitar...!
