That was smoother than the record. Excellent job, man. Tone, licks, dynamics all of it was right there! I had to listen again, and I might go listen to it again lol.
Nice man! I also hurry up when I start the solo. Very hard to play and to cover James' licks. I love playing this song and Steamroller Blues. Greetings from Perú.
Marvellous, thank you Steve. When JB hits the solo on A7, the arpeggio rings very cleanly and I think he might be holding down the chord as x0x653 rather one based on the more conventional 577655 - maybe see what you think when you have 5 minutes - brilliant though, many thanks again.
Steve you are amazing and I’m glad I saw your guitar covers of James burton they are just amazing and I was hoping you could play never been to Spain 1972 Madison square garden that would be amazing keep up the good work!
I bought a Telecaster about 20 years ago, plays great still have it, similar to the one you have there. Tried the Burton Paisley model and didn't like the neck. Once Elvis got going there was no stopping him. The song travels along like a rhythmic wave. Great playing.
Alright dammit, I need see what these telecasters are all about. I got a schecter diamond series with emgs.... Shreds like cabbage, but sounds like a bull in a china shop when playing rockabilly and blues...I at least have to do some serious tone redialing when jump from metal to blues which I do often. But that other mystery train vid you, oh man I can't believe it's not butter
