Honestly, it’s refreshing to see someone do a short set of nails. I only ever do short nails, because I’m a mom and I’m always cleaning or working with my hands. So long nails are just ridiculous in my life. RU-vid is flooded with nails that are super long and always over the top. Don’t get me wrong, I love watching all the nail videos. But I wish more influencers would do more practical short nail looks for us parents and hard labor workers. I feel like there would be a large audience that would seriously appreciate some short nail videos. Everyone always says you can’t do much with short nails, but I’m always doing fun designs with my nails. So I know there’s a ton you can do with short nails. Just something to think about.
I know I'm a little biased with long nails but this!! I would love to see more glam looks with shorter nails too. I love long nails and I feel like they serve such a fabulous look but I tend to do mine somewhere in the medium size.. I'm an artist and I also just work with my hands a lot as well so it would be interesting to see Emily do something more her style but a bit shorter.
I like the completely random sets like this! I would have NEVER thought you’d do a short set and this came out pretty cute! It reminds me of powerpuff girls a little bit!
Honestly the nail design isn't even bad at all. I was very worried when it said round and I saw the colors, but you managed to make it really wearable haha. Maybe I should do that some time in private too because I feel like I always do the same thing with the same colors haha. Love your videos
Its fun :) I've drawn nail designs from a hat before too. I ended up with these lime green and black abstract swirls and nightmare before christmas nail art amd decals 🤷♂️🤷♂️🙌 something that wouldn't have occurred to me normally
whether it’s about concepts that make you go out of your comfort zone or ones that are just typically you, I feel like no matter what, the videos will still be very enjoyable and fun to watch. You just have this thing of making every video worth watching! So whatever concept you want to try, just do it, I am sure I will enjoy the videos no matter what!!!
I really like how the wheel set turned out; especially that line of orange. I like this concept of picking out the supplies. I think mixing it up between pushing you out of your comfort zone and allowing you to pick what you want to go on the wheel would be nice. Let's say you can't think of a design one week and are feeling super adventurous, you can doing something like you did in this video. Another week you could put options that you are more comfy with. Lots of potential! 😄

As much as I love three inch dagger nails, they're just too impractical for my job, so short/medium ovals are what I wear most of the time, and this whole set from start to finish is absolutely something I would do. Please do more videos with the mystery wheel, it's so fun! 💖💖💖
omg this concept is so fun. i liked seeing a short(er) set - i just can't do long ones for my job so it's cool to see you do a set i could probably get away with lol. i honestly would love if the wheel stayed totally random; i mean, we'll still get to see your personal style in a lot of your other videos, so it's interesting to watch you get pushed out of your comfort zone. that said, i think that as long as you're having fun, your videos will be fun to watch, so ultimately do what's gonna be right for you! so many good uploads this last month, loving it, thank you
this was amazing, i have to be honest i was not confident in the short nails and the colors but you really made it come together as one cohesive unit, i'm in awe of your talent!! i think if you did a series of spin the wheel and just alternated between totally 100% random and random within your style, the results would be different and interesting each time :)

I love this format for when I get stuck! I have a google sheet that picks random things like length, shape etc. I think for you, it'd be totally reasonable to curate aspects that you love, but also do things that push you! You can do long - xxl nails and then have everything else be truly random.
I would LOVE to see you do a wheel video full of the styles you love because our style is really similar when it comes to nails. And just your whole aesthetic in general. I started collecting squishmallows bc you made it look so fun, and most weekends me and my bf go squish hunting. Last Sat. We hunted squish and amiibo cards and it was amazing

I love this! I like that it is completely random but if you did this as a reoccurring series you could do the next one with just things that you like, and then go back and forth? I am honestly obsessed with the base nails. That orange stripe is so satisfying!

i love completely random because it really pushes you out of your comfort zone. Plus, I feel like its entertaining if stuff that doesnt match together show up on the wheel because now you have to make it work. Love your videos, you are really talented and honest.

As someone who isn't really into getting my nails done. I love watching your videos. It was nice watching you go out of your comfort zone a bit, if we never leave our comfort zone we don't grow. I wouldn't mind seeing a bit of both where you do mostly stuff that is your style but on occasion going out of your comfort zone

I love watching these videos to relax, like Emily is the perfect amount of chill and entertaining. But seeing the nail prep phase literally makes my nail beds ache 💀💀 I could never buff my bare nails or cut/push my cuticles that far back. I've always been the type to just let my nails do their thing, so it's interesting watching someone who spends so much time (and does so much art) with their nails.
I would love either type of video. I really enjoy the whole pushing you out of your comfort zone but it would be awesome to see a set of just what you like too. You did awesome on these nails 💅🏻 ❤️

I really loved this set of nails (without the charms). Originally, I was worried the colors wouldn’t go but you made it work phenomenally. I like the idea that you do everything random and out of your comfort zone. It brings out that critical thinking skill and allows you to find a design or method to make things work together. Love it

I really enjoyed the wheel concept!! You could do one with all of your favorite colors and charm options onto the board and spin, and another with colors and charms you wouldn't normally gravitate towards 🖤

Love the short nails! Long styles are personally not my favorite but I love watching you and others do them but I really loved seeing a short style since it is less popular. It came out so good!
