Mystical Winters Far up North mix by Ugasanie for Cryo Chamber 👉 Cryo Chamber Bandcamp: cryochamber.bandcamp.com/ 👉 Spotify: open.spotify.com/user/cryochamber The air is crisp and biting, and the sky is a deep shade of blue-black, dotted with stars that twinkle brightly against the inky canvas. The moon is a sliver, casting a faint glow over the snowy landscape. The trees stand tall and proud, their branches heavy with ice crystals that glimmer in the moonlight. The ground is blanketed in a thick layer of snow, and the only sound is the crunch of your boots as you trudge through the drifts. The wind howls through the trees, sending a chill down your spine. Despite the cold, there is a sense of peace and solitude in this dark winter wonderland. 👉Tracklist: 1. 00:00 Skrika - Ice Fields of The Eidola cryochamber.bandcamp.com/album/soludenia 2. 03:51 Atrium Carceri - Frozen Headlights cryochamber.bandcamp.com/album/compilation-behind-the-canvas-of-time 3. 07:12 Mount Shrine - Peaking Cold cryochamber.bandcamp.com/album/all-roads-lead-home 4. 13:23 Ugasanie & Dronny Darko - In the Polar Sea cryochamber.bandcamp.com/album/arctic-gates 5. 21:34 Creation VI - Migration to North cryochamber.bandcamp.com/album/beringia 6. 30:15 Mount Shrine - Winter Restlessness cryochamber.bandcamp.com/album/winter-restlessness 7. 35:46 protoU - Stones in Snow cryochamber.bandcamp.com/album/khmaoch 8. 40:37 Paleowolf - Permafrost cryochamber.bandcamp.com/album/genesis 9. 45:38 Northumbria - Frozen Lake cryochamber.bandcamp.com/album/vinland 10. 49:49 Dahlia's Tear - Edge of Infinity cryochamber.bandcamp.com/album/adrift-on-the-edge-of-infinity 11. 56:00 Ager Sonus - Tundra cryochamber.bandcamp.com/album/niflheim 12. 60:01 Beyond the Ghost - The Darkest Night Ever cryochamber.bandcamp.com/album/sundown 13. 64:12 Ugasanie & Dronny Darko - Behind the North Wind cryochamber.bandcamp.com/album/arctic-gates
This is perfect timing, I just climbed a 3500 foot mountain, and got lost in the forest after dark. I'm absolutely exhausted right now, but it was quite the experience. After you lose the sun the tiny trees look like hunched over people, and it can be terrifying, especially up here in the northeast. I'm glad to be home, but I'm kind of shocked at how today turned out, 8 hours and well over 12 miles of nonstop up and down, with no rest, only to find out that you won't even make it in time to beat the sun.
Glad you're down safe mate! We are primed to look for fast and violent danger, bears, rock slides, a bad fall, but what's insidious about hikes and snow shoeing is how quiet the bad situation can be. You can be comfortable, warm, and orientated and then over the next hour or so you are turned around, maybe you stumbled into some water and got your feet soaked, or you rolled an ankle over a root. It happens slow, unannounced and silently. It sounds like swearing you packed your compass or charged your phone, smells like gortex getting soaked through, and feels like you trying to keep the panic down when you have made a very bad series of slow mistakes. That shit kills sure, and it kills slow. It has happened to hundreds of hikers, and thousands of people in history. Glad it didn't get you too.
@nothing No music, the winter forest is absolutely silent, and I want to be able to hear something coming. As far as how I was doing, I'm absolutely fine.
I was listening to the other albums while writing a screenplay that takes place in Antarctica... and then this releases right now... perfect timing man
I am loving this mix! Thank you so much for this. Winter is one of my favorite seasons and I love the idea of Dark Polar ambiance. On a side note, I also received the Tsathoggua CD and that packaging is stunning! And the new Ruptured World album coming out sounds so good. Looking forward to more music this year.
Winter ambient always sounds calm and relaxed, everywhere: home, library, train, work, beach, forest, Africa, DOOM Eternal - same things and feelings, easy way to peace of mind
Just what I was looking for at this time of year. Amazing art, the perfect winter place to explore. Subtotem is always amazing, and it was a special treat to hear it unexpectedly. RIP Mount Shrine.
Winter is my absolute favorite season ❄️ the first mix of 23 is off to a bang! Oh my gosh! This is too sweet!!! The art, the track list, I love, love the description. Perfection. 👏 (Also I’ve been obsessed with the new Ruptured World album. The first part of Emergency Thought - Cast Distance Messaging I’ve listened to a million times this past week 👌 electro space jazz is my new jam 👍)
this is a fantastic compilation. I like the more serene tracks that dont have a dark, but more of a soothing mysterious vibe to them. Like silent snowflakes!
wow i was listening to this video and I suddenly fell asleep and I dreamed a lucid dream that I was in this dark aristocratic mysterious philosophical world
Really great ambient for now, when in my city temperature is about -25 Celsius :D Chilling fo reading some fantasy book in cold night, with hot tea. P.S. Picture is also wonderfull! Any source for this? Thx for your content, Cryo!
When the world was yet young, man man was still feeble, when the nights were dark and the days were silent, when man was still ruled by nature, this was the gift of old that the mother bestowed upon us. She would lay herself down and give man her flesh so that we would prosper, she would cradle man during the coldest nights and during the harshest storms, yet when the nights had passed and the storms had settled, man feasted still upon the flesh. The mother shrieked and cried as flesh became bone, yet man feasted more, until bones became dust, now without feast man could once more see, as the dark forest crept back, and the storms whailed once more. Without the mother, the primeval horrors came clawing back, reclaming the world from man, who now sought the comfort of the mother, who searched frantically and sporadically to no avail, as the flames across the world were consumed by the night once more.
