....and that's why after 31 yrs, I'm still a wand guy. Yes it's more tiring at the end of the day but less hastle and does a better job. I do like the idea of the electric tm. Thanks for posting this raw and honest video!
Tested the 3 vacuum lx Escape Plus. Got a whopping 170cfm at the 2.5" intake on the machine ... Its bullshit they make it sound like it does 350 cfm. If you dont know how to read the fine print you are wasting money on those machines...i know because i did... They have decent lift but ehh . Id rather have the cfm. And if you dont have a fuel fired heater youre running electric heaters which rules out using more electricity for vacuum boosters.
Wow! where is the quality control and check list review before this stuff leaves the manufacture? I was not impressed with anything shown but, the old school WAND!
You guys are funny. Really enjoyed watching all the bloopers! and I got to learn something too. You were getting great suction on that T Rex the entire time. You could see the water rushing up and when you had it flat on the carpet and tilted it back you could here it was sticking to the carpet very well. how the heck you got that carpet clean without heat and chemical is beyond me.
Seem like a strong machine, but it's unrealistic when it comes to using 4 different outlets to power it and when they try to use a fifth outlet to power the T Rex it tripped the breaker. Using 5 outlets to clean an apartment carpet will not work. I was thinking about purchasing it but I'm so glad I seen this video. It will pay off better just saving up and buying a truckmount.
It's the old mighty Bentley that's no longer available. They didn't hold up worth a damn If you're looking for a swivel wand the only one to get is the Devastator from Tom Conway
The T-Rex has 6 vac slots and without a beast of a truck mount (#6 blower or more) you're not going to extract well. The Hoss has the same issue. Sapphire changed the clean top due to rapid failure of the acrylic from heat. Where is the 360 XL it has 4 heads and would probably pick up much more water. An easy test for this extraction issue would be to do some dry strokes with the wand where you already used the rotary extractors then you'll know that the pick up is weaker on the rotary tools. Too many fast moving heads on a wanna be truck mount. That's the real problem here.
For three cords you can come close to this performance wise with: Any extractor Mytee, Sandia, etc with (2) 6.6 @400psi this is 15amp each. Then another 8amps for 5.7 3 Stage Vac Booster. This can run 150ft
Moe, Larry and Curly.... Haha! Trying to check suction on only one vac port, when the head is off the floor? Rotary machine suction is created only when all ports make contact with carpet. The Mytee Escape ETM is a great reliable machine.... You can roll it in a building and go up the elevator having Truckmount power on the 15th floor.... Try that with a Van Mounted TM.... I like Mike's videos, he is funny. :-) Keep /em coming.
how can you get 4 separate circuits up in an a highrise apartment? thats the show stopper right there! and if you think that using only 1 cord or 2 is your solution, then that defeats the purpose of this machine being "portable" might as well get a real portable. this machine is the worst of both worlds, bad truckmount and bad portable.
