Myth: The Fallen Lords Soundtrack part 1 

I did seek old players of Myth in Diablo games, with no luck. I wish you all good luck in your lives, who played Myth.

This music...this atmosphere, the artwork....high fantasy games have nothing on this. At 8:13 tired soldiers marching on...heartbreaking.

The only game soundtracks that make me feel chills through my body and fill my eyes with tears. My favorite games ever are Myth and Myth II, and I've been a gamer for a long time, and heard many soundtracks. Absolutely NOTHING will come close to these two games. From the gameplay to the storyline to the music to the graphics and illustrations - it is, as far as I'm concerned, one of the greatest achievements in the history of video gaming, if not the greatest. I can barely watch these without being overwhelmed by nostalgia.

I've never looked at a cluster of crows the same since playing this game when I was a kid.

I love Myth! Brings back amazing memories of my childhood. Many people do not appreciate this game, it's really nice with all the artwork, music & storyline. Simply amazing...

I've played plenty of HALO and I don't remember hearing this soundtrack but I sure do remember it from this game. God this was such a hard game for me. Fricken awesome soundtrack though!

The tune at 2:55 is just beautiful. It should be made into a full length song. It makes me think of great battles of ages past. For some reason I think it goes well with the Hussite Wars.

anyone remembers the perfection of the physics engine? that was a ground braking stuff! one dude stacked a few dozens of satchel charges and detonated them under a knight - his weapon fell down after 30s of outside-of-a-screen-flight!

We lived through the golden age of gaming. Still sad that it's over!

Ow man... I was bad at this game, truly was. I needed cheats just to see the later levels. But I regret nothing! That atmosphere, the design, the narration and story, the characters. The feels o.O

I always loved to win scenarios cause of the victory theme, made me feel like a real medieval hero!

Love this ❤️❤️. Brings back good memories of countless hours playing this wonderful and engaging pc game along with its sequel Soulblighter. A great game like no other.

Same here, I like myth ten times more then halo. one of the best story lines and one of THE BEST STRATEGY GAMEPLAY I HAVE SEEN IN A RTS. and the music is cool too.

I love this game!

I much prefer the TFL-music to the SB-music. This music has more of a desperate feel to it. Really enhances that "constantly outnumbered", "little hope of survival", "good against ancient evil", "desperate battle"-feel of the game. Also really miss the "victory-music" in TFL. (08:13) Wish Magma had kept it in the SB-version of TFL.

Bungie will always be the best. PLEASE, someone create a Myth game for Xbox! Even all these years later this game is great, timeless, way ahead of its time and still fun and fresh. Sadly, it only plays on my crappy old laptop now. The music is beautiful too, as is the Halo soundtrack.

I have to say, I like the heroes in Myth a hell of a lot more than those in TBC. TBC had all of that "look, hardcore mercenaries in a hardcore amoral world" silliness while Myth is about ordinary men overcoming impossible odds against evil.

If you ever read The White Company by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, it's pretty much the unofficial game for that too! Really blended both worlds.

Martin O'Donnell composed the soundtracks for both games. It was a really good soundtrack so he got some more mileage out of it. Turned out to be a good decision, I think, since Halo's soundtrack is also amazing.

I use to play the Myth the fallen lords a lot. I wish they would make a Myth game (I'm aware that there's Myth 2 and 3 already out).

I love the game and the story to this this is a allsome stoy I hope it a movie one day

The people at Bungie who made Myth are the same people who made Halo. And as it is a popular tune they put it as an easter egg in Halo

@Gothos Definitely! As close as it gets, at least! This AMAZING game has probably led many cool people to the Black Company books. Whenever reading the first one, I always hear Croaker's words as spoken by Geoffrey Charlton-Perrin (the Narrator...at least in Myth: TFL). Now if only we had Shifter and Soulcatcher riding around on carpets battling windwhales...then it would be the perfect game.

Still the only game that really made me *feel* like evil has already won and the human race is going extinct. And goddamn, those diary entries.

And in Myth, there are many periods worth a game, like the Age of the Trow, and even the fight of Tireces against the first Leveler. PLEASE, BUNGIE, BUY MYTH BACK!

Sadly, take 2 interactive now owns the rights to the Myth series.

Why don't you write a letter to Bungie, telling them how much you love the Myth series and have a petition to pursuade tham to make a new Myth game.

That's pretty true...until you read some fascinating fan theories on the Myth wiki page. There's a LOT more going on in this game's story that what we're presented with in the narrative. It's awesome and probably not as "good vs. evil" as the narrator portrays it. But yes, it definitely has a more moral perspective to it than TBC, but that's one of the reasons why I think TBC is so special.

This game is fucking amazing. I'd strangle 1,000 puppies for a faithful remake on a modern engine.

Myth is suffering the same thing the D&D cartoon suffered in the past. Only three seasons were produced, without a concluding final episode (there is only a script). And do you know what pisses me the most? Most of the third seasons episodes are sub-par. I mean, "The Dungeon at the Heart of Dawn" was a splendid season premiere, with the revelation of Venger's master, so why not dedicate the whole season with the fight against the Nameless One?
