The pan pastel background is just beautiful. I did pretty well in trivia… got the first two wrong, I smacked my head twice when you guessed the right answer and wanted to change mine but it was too late lol. I didn’t know the answer to the last one but my husband did so I’m giving myself a half. 😂😂😂

Hi Jody!!! Questions!!! So for questions, I will go with Isaac Newton? I think the Italian Word for ham is Prosciutto? How long would be 28 days!!! Glad to not worrying about that anymore 😮what is a golden delicious? Apple? Who is named ol’ blue eyes? Frank Sinatra? How many seconds in 1 hour? 3600? How many strings does a violin have? I think 4? Last question..i think it’s Bernie Madoff and his pyramid scheme? Wow I am surprised i got them all!!! I really like your backgrounds!!! I have gelatos and enjoy them lots!!! Hi Jody, I used my new pearl pan pastels after seeing you use them and I love how it turned out. I used your inspiration photo for colors for the background on the "girl in the jar" picture adding violet and blue. I am a newbie to Panpastels and have a few questions: Did you use a permanent fixative or a workable fixative and how many coats or sprays do you typically use on a page such as this one. Do you spray with the page upright or flat? Do you wait several hours before going back to it? TIA🥰 Others who have experience with Panpastels feel free to share your experiences with this as well. TY Oh, I missed one of the Trivia questions, just happen to know them, but I am 80 years old so I hope I know some of this stuff!🤣

Wonderful Carole! So glad you are using your pearlescent pan pastels they are beautiful! I spray workable fixative on my page outside. Lay the book flat and spray lightly over the page about 8 inches away. You only want to coat the page not saturate or have droplets on it. So less is more. Like you would use hairspray really. I let it dry outside for 20-30mins then bring in and can colour on page. Workable fixative is used if you need to colour on the page, if you use final fixative then that is it. Nothing else will go on the page so I only will use that if I do the pastels last and am done all other parts of the page.

Hi Jody, I'm hoping to attempt a page in an uncoloured Mythographic book this month, so this video was really helpful. I did well with today's questions. The only one I couldn't answer was the last question.

There are so many in this series that there is a book style for everyone. I find them on sale at book outlet online regularly. Hope you have fun colouring what ever you choose.
