Mam don't give me the tag of a misogynist but let me share an unsident of past year my sister gets upset when her periods come and, I am secretly practising sadhanas and, I beleve that all these rules for our own benefit and as, I mention about my sis so this year ,I argued he about her temple going thing without having a shower first she got angry at me and also gifted me with some slaps 😅 but when she got normal, I had to reveal my secret but it was worthit then ,I told her other safe and normal sadhanas that she can do comfortable at home in he her bed and everything got resolved. Also there is a annual festival that is called Rajo Parv it celebrates womanhood. Girls and woman play on swings, do sringaar, free from any duty, sing and dance. It also enables boys to be educated about this cycle.

Would like to say one thing... you have mentioned that girls should not shower/bathe during menstruations, but for me whenever i am on my periods i need to take a bath to feel clean... being clean/hygienic during periods is a must. I was always told to take a bath during my periods and then on the 3rd or 4th day which ever day period flow is less we need to wash our hair as well. Hygiene during periods is as important as in day to day life.

Great video, after watching this I can say that I was the victim to pcod and pcos in both ovaries, as I being from North India didn't had celebration of my rajaswala. More sad now our grandmother and mother consider not talking about this thing which was not the case in vedic times. I as a teenage with period, always said what is this and wanted to be a male but with pcod I've learnt myself with grace of God that rajaswala is a blessing which I didn't considered when I was said only by my mum and not in a supporting group. So it felt bit much sad to know now about this, but can't change the past. Also I consider pcod a blessing as it redirected me on right paths of yoga in life and healthy foods.
