Where did you plug the two wires did you plug them in the ecu and the receiver?

Correct the SQ-1 Controller does not have trun function. If you like Turn Signal function then check out our UF-7C controller.

All I have is backfire and it seems to only work on reverse is there a way to change this or what did I do wrong

The same thing happened to me on my rock crawler but I have the dg1 for it. MyTrick RC told me to reverse the polarity on my motor and reverse throttle function on my transmitter. It worked for me

Can confirm. Though I only had to reverse channel 2 and recalibrate the esc neutral, forward, reverse. (Did not have to change motor rotation)
