Hello, could you give me some idea, what is really happen to my Nissan sunny N16 problem. I had changed the new filter and new oil Nissan (N2) oil transmission but still my car didnt move when i shifted to D position however move when i shifted to L position. Please solve my problem, your explanation is appreciated, thank you.
before i change new transmissio oil, the problem is the same as i explained above, therefore i change the new oil and filter which i hope the problem can be solved, but still didnt work.
I checked the Crank shaft sealing was fin but replaced it anyways while I had access to it it was the gearbox where the shaft came out bearing gave out and made it wobble and made the seal give out the shaft moved and when you turned it you could hear the bearing dropping and rolling around so ended up getting a new gearbox from an 04 model been with 70000 ks runs like new
Hello' i have a 89 nissan pulsar nx xe that drove fine when i parked it 2 weeks ago but i started it today and it is shuddering and wont move in any gear drive or reverse and making a grindy scrathing sound. All i did 2 weeks before was replace the wore out govenor gear and transmission filter, new gaskets and oil pump seal. Why won't it move now? Please help. Engine is a Ga16i trans is automatic: RL3F01A
Check fluid level, check that fluid is being pumped around by pulling off the cooler lines, check CV's are fully engaged in the splines.....let me know how it goes!!
Sorry Mate that car is now gone and I have no raw video showing the shift control rod. When I replaced the gearbox I replaced the shift controls rod as they were different. All I have left to show is this picture here from instagram. instagram.com/p/BVsdEPtgB2t/?
The fill point about half way up the gearbox. It is usually a large nut or a Allen fitting. You fill the gear box till the oil flows out of the fill hole. You would have to look up the spec for capacity and grade of oil. Thanks for the question
