I haven't. From what I can read on the internet it's best to replace the whole cover with OEM. But if you are DIY-er, then it might be a good option to just replace the diaphragm. I would not replace it unless you have symptoms of a bad CCV.

Yes, just make sure you get it from a reputable german company. Price is about 140 - 200 EUR. Or try to get a good used one if you are willing to repeat the process if it goes bad:)

I just did timing yesterday but still have the same problem

And I went and bought fuel injection pump ground strap chain tensioner screw but still

Quick tip.. you can unclip hood gas strut clips and then you can lift hood straight up position.. makes lot of more room to operate engine back to car

Did you confirm the vanos timing adaptation in INPA? Intake should be 115-120 deg, exhaust should be 55-58 deg.
