Really useful video, sir. It looks fairly straight forward to do. But I was told by a local independent auto repair shop, that it's not necessary to compress the 'o' ring seals on the injectors.🤔 ?? It does seem like it is pretty important though.
Hahaha i read the last line and realized I don’t have to say anything 😂 you seen it for your self ,and that tells you the local repair shop is not a good place to go to hahahahaha
When replacing the "O" ring injector seals on my E60, one of them had been leaking and there were sooty carbon deposits left in the injector barrel. So I made a cleaning tool to remove the carbon, by using a Nike sports shoelace (which are hollow) and inserted an old telescopic radio aerial inside it. This enabled me to carefully clean inside the injector tube so that the injector sealed and seated perfectly with the new Teflon "O" rings.
Hi. Did you do something after cleaning the nozzles and installing them in the software? For example engine control unit adaptations reset? Or something else ?
don't "wiggle wiggle" those injectors cuz u'll damage the injector bore and then u need to get a new engine head or drill the current one and fix it just use the fuel rail (tighten it a bit on the injector) and pull it straight 🤌🏼
Hauahauhaua ,dude i cringe when i look back at this video bro ,shit has changed a lot since then i promise ,i actually have a tool for that now 😂,this was when i did them for the first time and they did not come out hard at all , but yeah nah definitely don’t do that 😂
Using the fuel rail is not very good either because some of them are jn there pretty tight i learned over the years ,best way is to use a slide hammer type tool
