Had this issue in SEA server at Calpheon siege,2000+ player in 1server,Cant even do shit for like 30-40 minute,we've been complaining since the merge with Thailand server, but what they do?yup lets release more costume!,"OH ur problem is at SEA SERVER?who gives a fuck as long as its not KR server,we developer count that lagfest as a feature for ur server but its a problem if that happens on KR,take the feature we give to ur server or just quit"
It's been this way for years. Sure is swell that they removed all of the PvP the game handles best, which is small scale 1v1, 1v2, 2v2, 3v3, etc, organic pvp in the open world, and left us with clownfest siege and node wars with gear caps and AoS which is literally gear-edge-case abuse plus hostage situations with randomly selected teammates you hate. I tried to stick it out doing sieges on Saturday nights but 30 minutes of this diarrhea at the beginning of every single siege night made me realize it's just flat out not fun.
You clearly don't understand how mmo works. It's not the developers who cause lags. It's players. Make limits and players will abuse them to get the castle. Remove limits and leaders will bring as much people as they can even if it cause severe lags. And by the way we have some kind of limits. You have to control the node to join siege. So it's uneven destribution not the number of participants and maybe we need another castle to fight for to destribute more broadly.
What are you on? First of all your are incorrect. They need to upgrade their servers or find a better host. This is in no way the players fault for how the servers completely shut down when large scale pvp happens.
You clearly don't understand Anything. BDO already added more limits to Siege numerous times, it always helps. "Make limits and players will abuse them to get the castle". BDO always relied on players to police themselves to succeed. Barcode tried abusing limits by placing with a bunch of snipe guilds so no competition could form on the territory, it worked but it was immediately frowned upon and hurt their rep and I don't believe they tried it again as a PVP guild won't succeed if they are known for abusing something like that instead of trying to get stronger to win. So other than that one instance, are players abusing the limits to get castle currently because there ARE limits and I don't see people abusing it. Then you say its uneven distribution that causes the problem... Limiting how many people can place creates more even distribution as they will have to place elsewhere.. you literally explained why limiting the amount of guilds that can participate would actually WORK lmao... saying the lag is more of the players fault than the developers fault is insane..
