I also learn a lot more in here, even though I don't know japanese, you could kind of get what they are talking about, and if you already have a knowledge in cars, the better and easier to understand. I'm not professionally educated in cars but through their videos, I have come to know some technical stuff. Top gear is more entertainment beyond cars. But not my go to car videos.

@@roknroller6052 I replied once, but will reply with another clue here (about the inside car sound fooling us). It never sounds like it's being revved when watching from his POV, right? I agree. 13:20 guess what car makes that screaming sound (when it swaps to outside camera). You guessed it, it's the FD. I have no clue why it sounds like a diesel n/a inside. Seen it with RX8's as well. It's an enigma. If you watch the part where it's introduced, you can hear it as well, tho he's talking over it, so it's a little hard to catch. Also the first timestamp you sent (here you need the best eyes in the world for this poor bitrate video, lol) if you look SUPER close, you can see the revmeter reaching max. I swear I do not understand this, but trust me, it was actually pushed.

The mines isn’t superior it ways less then the other gtr hence the lap times but the 3 rotor would be way quicker if it was more heavily tuned like the mines is 200ps less and a lot lighter running at the same BHP the 7 would destroy it

The turbo cars are significantly heavier, mines r34 is a daily driver vs full bred lightweight race machines...

Mazda was always a unreliable garbage compared with Honda. Rx. Because rest of the mazdas have nothing to do with performance

I'll take nothing away from the rx7. But to believe it's more superior, or to thank it has a better formula or more potential than an s2000 has been proven false for way to many years. Still respectable though.

RE always had the best and most balanced FD3S tunning.

The fd would destroy the mines gtr with the same BHP running 200ps less for a 3 rotor would be around 500 600 BHP

​@@roknroller6052 I used to think so as well, but for some reason, the rotary engine powered cars sound quite dull from the drivers seat (at least the ones I've seen on this show, when heard from the track they're screaming), noticed this in other videos. I doubt Keiichi wasn't driving the way he felt was the fastest in that car. If he was being careless he would've slided more, he can't help but drift when he's not super serious, haha.

Make videos about the whole process. Be nice to see a fully built mine's r34 just like this one.

Car was setup for total balance and high response. It also had a shorter final drive and carbon propshaft. Plus, that Spec 2 complete engine costs a bomb.

Well, you saw how the "300 hp cars" still gave the "600 hp cars" such a fight? Power is not everything, and neither is lightweight, neither only both things. It must have a total balance in all the car, and the base car also is important. The FD3S from RE Amemiya was the best performing, standing right behind that R34 monster with half the power and still finishing third. And credit where its due, its the amazing balance that FD RX7s have in everything weight related, transmission and power. The GT-Rs only had 600 HP in their engine and the balance went out the window, so the power was the only thing that kept them winning.
