See we support BJP not because of Hindutva but also because of very good macroeconomic management and containing macro risks exceptionally well. If congress can show a good track record of containing economic risks, and domg well with public finance then it's all good to bring them in power too, no issues. The thing is their intent and all is correct, and have done responsible economic management as well but they lack skills and ideas and also increasingly getting out of touch with reality. They can do so much better if they channelize their political will in the right direction rather than mis directing their energies. They're basically shooting themselves on the foot.
It is too early to form an opinion. No doubt public appearances and PR skills of Rahul Gandhi have improved, however, PM Modi's recent visits cannot be termed as photo opportunities. Meetings at the highest level pave the way for major decisions down the line. Agree with you that BJP is lacking in their PR skills.
