I stop by the Tilta booth and speak with Nick regarding the new tilta nucleus nano ii wireless follow focus. This is a short series for my first NAB in 2023, where i visit different manufacturers and get some insight into their newly released products. I personally am a fan if the tilta nucleus nano 2, but I know a lot of people have their questions and doubts about it so I'm looking to see if I can answer some of the hot button questions on the tilta nucleus nano 2.

Cam op could have used a nano themselves to grab focus quicker on those close ups, but amazing info and questions regardless. Thank you!

Haha yes it was very run and gun and hes not a sony shooter, but i agree, nano ii looks really good.

Looks great with good functionality. Not convinced is earns the title Nano because it’s pretty big. Not sure it will appeal to solo shooters like smaller solutions such as PDmovie.

I sont know that its much bigger than the progonal nano to be honest, heigh wise at least. And it has more torque which can come in handy for stiffer cine lenses, could replace nucleus m for some especially when considering usb c power you wont necessarily need a rig with a v mount

@@animusvisual I was thinking more about the controller rather than the motor and small rigs where profile can matter, which is why I mentioned the little follow focus wheel made by PDmovie.

I was told yes they should all continue to interchange

I have. the regular rs3 , will this work with it ? or just the pro?

Just powers from usb c so it should be good on rs3 as long as you can balance it all under the weight limit imo

It's a synco g5 I think. Won't lie wasn't great. When I had theb2 going there was heavy interference. I had to nix the mic I had on.

@@animusvisual Indeed, they announce it but they don't sell it yet, they are supposed to start distributing it from China in mid-August, but they already announce that in other places that sell it, so we have to wait. I don't understand how since April they present it at NAB in Las Vegas and it takes so long to put it up for sale and distribute it.
