Nadia is just amazing, there arent even words to describe her. I would absolutely love to meet her. She seems so genuinely nice and funny. I just think she would be a great person to be around and have in your life 😻😻

I trained with Bela when he came to my gym a long time ago...he was very hard for me to understand but he's the best coach and very funny!!! I really miss gymnastics!!!

OMG! I just came across this on you tube. I love it. This is amazing seeing Nadia and Bella working together again. It was like my peanut butter and jelly finding themselves again. So awesome.
I'm so jealous! I was in love with him and Nadia after the movie when I was a little girl. When I started doing gymnastics I always wanted to meet them both! :)
This has to be put into perspective. Nadia is twice as old as these other gymnast's like Kelli Strug yet keeping up with them with little to no practice. That is the aura of Nadia Comaneci

I love how Kerri Strug's unspoken expressions say a thousand words. Not just in this video but in others when she's and just looking at someone or something. She stole the scene for me from 6:20 to 6:40. I love her candid demeanor ... the way I wish I could be more often.
Bela Karolyi actually have been my trainer on a gymnastic camp!!! I´m from Sweden, and it was in Sweden, so he said to me RAKA BENEN! which means "Shave your legs" in swedish! but he should say STRAIGHT YOUR LEGS! He was´nt so good at swedish, but he was really good!
eueueutututu1 Good! :D He can so much about gymnastics and is a kind coach, but strict! The only thing is that he can´t speak other languages as well! XD sometimes there can be some cross-purpose, but it´s just funny I think! It Is really cool to actually be able to say that I have met him! He is an amazing and fascinating coach!
+Dracula.s boobs I was privileged enough to attend camp with Bela prior to my freshman year of college and he was AMAZING! Tough but supportive. Had he been my coach 5 years sooner I might have taken a different path - my NCAA career hands down was awesome because of camp

Nice to see Nadia doing her stuff again. The US does not have a government-centralized training system like most countries do, so it's up to the individual club coaches to set the time. There's usually a training camp for the national team once every 2 or 3 months, and that semi-centralized system is run on sponsors and personal funds.

Yeah, a little scripted but still utterly charming. Thanks for posting this...helps those hung up on comparing "then-and-now" skills to understand the impact of huge improvements in safety & equipment on reducing injuries while advancing skills. Now if only they could be as effortlessly graceful as Nadia still is.

It's kind of strange seeing Kerri Strug on here with her ponytail, when I'm so used to seeing her with that short haircut, running down and sticking the landing on vault!
LOL! Having Nadia go against the then teenagers of Kim Zmeskel, Kerri Strug, etc. was agewise the same as when Oksana Chusovitina (at 33) competed against the teenage gymnasts at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Funny thing is, Oksana C. is the same age as what the teens from this video (Kim, Kerri, Betty, etc.) now are! (When this video was made Nastia Liukin was a year old and Shawn Johnson wasn't even born yet!) My how time flies!
