Thank you all for the wonderful talk. We have learned a lot from it. Naga declared independence on 14 Aug 1947 and India got independence on 15 Aug 1947. Naga celebrates independence one day before India's Independence day. This says it all.

The fact is that the unfortunate incident of oting is nothing in compare to the atrocities done to our people under Nehru in the mid and late 50s! During those time there was no internet and the social media is limited but fortunately now the world is much better equipped with that and thus we are glad that the world can see the hidden evil atrocities committed against nagas by Indian army. Long live Nagalim kuknalim.

As someone from the South of India, this was interesting and eye opening. The words of Shri Iralu, especially, were deep and wise. The Act must be repealed and the full force of democracy allowed to flourish. But I am aware that there are also local complications that need to be resolved at the same time. Wish the best to everyone.

I am really happy and grateful about What Ma'am Dzuvichu have shared about Naga peoples sufferings (Due to political conflict ...) in a clear and precise manner (My one wish ....has been fulfilled ) And I think it's really important that we as 'Nagas' we let the world know how in the past , Nagas have suffered at the hands of Indian Army and AFSPA Act, reason is not so to stir up animosity and fight among people.... but to let people ' know ' and' ' Remember' as part of our history, and because the pain and sufferings of our ancestors is worth mentioning(Esp. through dialogues and conversation like one of this platform though it has been written in books..,) and their story deserves respect and should be paid attention to Mainly , Not to repeat and allow such kind of acts to happen in the future in any part of our country.Thank you !!

ASFPA should be a topic for debate internationally. Since 1958, this areas especially the naga areas have been suffering silently and unexposed. Its an occupation by foreign forces... forces that are alien to the victims in all respects. Thanks and appreciate your understanding.

Thank you the host and all penalists for exposing the hidden truths about the Nagas and their sufferings in the hands of India military forces, GoI and Govt of Myanmar which have been not made known to the peace and freedom loving citizens of the world. Western nations especially Great Britain should correct the historical mistake it has committed when it left Nagas in the cruel hands of India; USA and others who claims as champion of democracy and human rights, should come to Nagaland and see for yourselves what really had happened and what's still happening in this part of the globe. Your eyes of human rights shouldn't be biased. You can see Uighurs in China, Afghans, North Korea, Myanmar, but you are blind when it comes to Naga lives in the hands of the so called world's largest democracy India.

India is a very big country ,the largest democracy in the contemporary world. Yet it does not have a big heart to admit that the massacre of innocent people was wrong. Trying everything to twist, and justifying the act by saying that it was a case mistaken identity. "Its a shameful for the one of the world's most advanced and powerful army to fail in their intelligent net work before the ambush" Anyway any thinking human beings may vividly see that it was a murder. And Big bro has to admit it and say SORRY.

I consider AFSPA is violating 1. Article 21 of Indian constitution . 2. Seventh schedule of the Indian constitution .i.e Law and order is a state subject & not centre government subject . Hence consider AFSPA as UNCONSTITUTION . If some of our Indian Legislators or centre government not doing justice of review . It must be put up in supreme court of India for scarpping this AFSPA based on the above 2 points in the CONSTITUTION of INDIA .

How many countries of the world through this media of learned panelists would know more about the Nagas, their land being disintegrated through different neighbouring States and a country Myanmar, their relentless aspirations ( despite Indian's dangerous law called Armed Special Power Act 1958 )to have their own independent nation called Nagalim, etc could be the points many may raise. But the most important question is when and how India respecting Geneva Agreement, would finally leave the Nagas to decide their own fate ?

I think it will be better if Indian universities also start talking about atrocities on red Indians by the european outsiders/settlers and ongoing discrimination aganist black and native populations. Also, atrocities on neighbouring countries like Cuba and Mexcio by the neighbouring foreign forces. Now, when talking about topics like Nagaland and afspa discussions must involve parties from all the sides so as not to keep it as apparently biased. Otherwise discussions like these will seem more like propagandas instead of awareness programs. I as an Indian also believe that afspa should be removed from not just Nagaland but the entire northeast India eventually and sooner and better approach should be implemented like developement and recognition of the actual history. There has been enough bloodshed and this must stop. However, for the current analysis of the scenario both sides must be there on the panel. Discussions on this issue is like having a panel of only the Texas people demanding a different country and including other people in the panel.

There are no indigenous people anywhere in the world. Humans have been nomads wandering and when in contact with other tribes, war. All of us have migrated and our ancestors have either been killed, raped and absorbed in other tribes or our tribes have done it. There are no pure people only mixed. ALL PEOPLE EVERYWHERE. Human history is filled with it, including nagas (I am not naga) . Nagas is todays identity. 100 years ago it was only warring tribes, what did headhunting mean? It meant nomadic movement and acquisition of new settlements.. and what happened to the tribe who lost? Heads cut, women taken as slaves,raped...same for kukis.. infact same for anywhere in the world... It is only the last 50-100 years when we humans have learned tolerance and terms like "human rights" which is good and its only going to get better as times passes.
