Looking for Chinese Hot Pot in Hakuba, Nagano? HINABE is a nice restaurant serving Chinese Hot Pot. There are 3 set menus: Beef, Lamb or Pork. All courses will come with seafood (oyster, scallop, fish, squid, prawn, shrimp balls) and assorted vegetables, along with a bowl of rice and a sorbet. You can choose your own broth: Mara spicy, Dandan spicy, Chicken, Kelp. I recommend the Mara spicy if you like spicy, otherwise, the chicken and kelp are decent broths. Be sure to flavor your broth with the vegetables and some of the seafood along the way. Drinks and extra rice cost a little more. You can top up on the meats. Unfortunately, there are no finishing noodles. Hot Pot is a festive way to eat, much like BBQ or yakiniku.
