We had mosquito spray, but we didn't get bitten. Then again, if you plan to take the paddle board or kayak on the river to watch fireflies in the evening, you might want to take precautions.
Universal Port Hotel is within walking distance to USJ (7min). The breakfast is great! Buffet style and a large selection of both western and Asian choices. KIX has a 30min shuttle to USJ area for around 20,000 yen, or take 1hr public transport for 1,000 yen. Hope that helps!
Not a bad plan! It would be awesome to enjoy every bit of MBS while you're there. To enjoy the rest of Singapore, a normal hotel may do... that's centrally located.
One of the best breakfast buffets I've ever had! There's a place called Wicked Spoon in Las Vegas which was also incredible, but MBS Rise has international food which is a big plus!
