I could go on about how blood rage and the fact Nago's best normals have long recovery frames, severely punishing you for just button mashing but I know you will never listen. Because your idea of what skill means is objectively false Because you see the idea of "skill" has been corrupted by scrubs to become nothing more than a badge of honour people like you bestow on strategies they like with anything they don't like being considered taking no skill when they know damn well anything other than an instant win button takes some form of skill. But the idea that they are above the people who beat them by some arbitrary honour system is comforting so they do it anyways. Let me put it this way. The rushdown main sees zoners as losers who don't know how to play the game so they pick zoners so they can avoid fighting. And the zoner sees the rushdown as a mindless button masher who doesn't know how to play strategically so they pick the character the let's them play recklessly.

No. Nago has tools to deal with that. Shadow Clone into Fukyo or Fukyo back until his blood gauge gets high enough to use his own heavy normals and whiff punish. Another thing to consider is that the intro combo alone does more damage to Potemkin than Nago loses from blood rage. You’re not chipping Nago out after that interaction: he’s chipping YOU out.

Nago is better at neutral than Pot, so it's more likely for Nago to chip him than the other way around.

You might want to refer to Hotashi’s video “Revisiting the I-No Matchup” where he details everything that went wrong for a Nago in a tournament match against an I-No. There’s a quote where he says something alone the lines of “All I-No can do in this matchup is send note from fullscreen and YOLOdive.” AND he was talking about a much stronger version of I-No in that video.

Its one of my earliest and my video recordings for reason just did that backthen...

I'm almost certain this doesn't work anymore or might not be "optimal" since this is from an entire patch ago but i MIGHT be wrong!

i really really saw his blood rage meter go to 0, but het he input his special still, thought i timed it and i got sent into space ._.

No nagos have proven to me that they can beat all varieties of roundstart dolphin (they like to backdash)

May is definitely the hardest round start for nago

Slidehead seems like an extremely good option on roundstart against Nago. He’s not jumping. This covers everything I see Nagos do at roundstart (with the exception of DP into second hit, obviously). Beats back Fukyo into Beyblade, beats Beyblade, beats any normal other than the FS string (but what Nago uses FS on round start).

@@Dhamphyre Not really, it actually loses to most normals because Nago can cancel them into beyblade by buffering it behind the normal. 5K is a particularly strong option against a lot of pots round starts, and he can also mix it up with 2S. The DP callout is nothing to sleep on because it covers megafist. Nago can also fukyo forward throw if you want to be spicy. If nagos are losing to slide head a lot at round start they probably just haven't labbed their round start options against pot much.
