Hello RU-vid and welcome to the channel!
Today we are looking at the Wltoys 184011 1:18 RC buggy. I'm a big fan of Wltoys, they have made some great RC's in the budget category over the years. But unfortunately this time the price has increased at the expense of quality. Not the best offering and a step back from the budget A959-A buggy that this is based on.

I was also extremely disappointed with this one when I tested it. Much better out there for slightly more money

Only reason i bought this instead of the a959 is because i plan on changing parts as soon as it gets here and honestly its probably not worth it u less your upgrading one out of the box

If you can pick one up cheap, then go for it. But here in the UK, for the price, there are now better options for your money. Which is a shame because that's what Wltoys used to be about. 👍

@@theminiatureconstructionco4556 yeah i got mine for 30 dollars so I couldn’t pass it up but it’s usually only 10 dollars less than the a959 here in the US so unless u find it on a deal like i did its better just get the a959

Thanks for taking the time to put this together, for sure I will avoid this one. I stay away from these anyway, I have the old A969 and it made me skip this brand altogether, even thought the 14th scale was good... I'm more loyal to the HBX based cheapos, and of course the more reputable brands...

That's a shame because they do have some good RC's. But this isn't one of them. 👍

for me A979(a) was a good deal at 30 bucks shipping included, it just needed BB's for the outers, center had them already (shaft+diffs). its a buggy where faster isn't always better, the B versions with a 540 motor are very overpowered. the old receiver+ESC combo handles 3S with smaller motors, the transmitter supported 4WS for their 1/24 crawler. the shocks just needed filling and it was good to go. doesn't make sense that they would even try to change+cheapen instead of rolling out with better.

It's still not alot of money to spend. And there are plenty of parts out there to improve matters. I'm coming at it, comparing it to the older model that's all. 👍👍
