My Hand Trainer with much use was not holding on to the tips any longer. So I found myself look for a money saving solution for this issue. In doing so I discovered I could do this across the board with other training hands and fingers and now would like to share my personal experience and knowledge with you.

I really like this idea! If my mounting putty idea doesn't work well I will definitely be doing this :) I just started nails so I am getting some practice hands and I don't want to go through too many full cover tips if I'm practicing and not making a press on set. Thank you for the video

Sure can. Covid has change something so I have had to focus on my other job to bring in an income. I will get back to making them.

Thank you so much! I’m a beginner and I’m considering buying an inexpensive silicone practice hand from amazon and I was wondering if I could somehow glue the dual forms to the actual hand, that way I could do my design and just easily pop it off. So I looked all over RU-vid to see if anyone had thought of that and if it worked but at first i didn’t find anything at all and it worried me bc since I’m only a beginner I thought maybe I was wrong and I didn’t want to ruin my hand. And thankfully I found this beautiful video!!! I can’t believe this trick hasn’t gotten more attention bc this is so helpful, and cost effective!

How do you We use them without damaging them dual forms are expensive if you can please do a video on how to remove them to be able to use them again.

I have a plastic nail hand and the tips I have don't work any nail tips recommendations ? I don't have a red iguana practice hand I have the same exact one on the right of your video 😫

Hello! Thank you so much for sharing this video! I just got the last softer fake hand you were working on today! I really wanna start practicing my sculpting. My big question is do you think I should use acrylic on it to make natural nail bed like you did in a previous video on the hard plastic hand? Or should I try and glue a tip on like you do here (I don't have a hot glue gun...) Also which way is best for when I take my practical exam? Much love 💖

I would say start with an acrylic foundation. You can practice laying product and using an efile without worrying about over filing.

Is it possible to use the polygel as an adhesive instead of the hot glue ? This is so cool do you have any video on the dual form ? I to bought an exaggerated amount of nail tip.

I just purchased cheap hand and solution for me will be probably buff the finger and then I sculpted nail with polygel. It was holding strong enough for me to file it, but I was able to pop it off after I finished. I think this would work with tips as well. So yes, I don't think you need to use hot glue.

Depending on the material that the hand is made out of will determine the ease of getting them off to start a new set. It's pretty much a hit-and-miss sadly to say. When I can or when I have more time I will be able to do another video and soon your question with more detail.
