I believe that one of the most probable reason as to why Ugandans are not usually comfortable with cameras is because of their historical political reasons in the sense that Uganda having been ruled by military governments there is a history of spying and extra-judicial killings which makes people very paranoid and suspicious. in countries which have been ruled by the military regimes like Ethiopia, China, etc people exhibit paranoia towards the cameras. In the free countries like Kenya people are less paranoid about cameras.

Talking about SGR... actually that's the railway type. The train itself is MADARAKA EXPRESS. I am a comprehensive fan of this train....the time keeping, cleanliness, security,service and the cruising speed without worrying of reckless overtaking makes me love this locomotive. As for content creators you are limited to filming inside the coach and through the window which cannot open. A few years ago we had EAR&H train doing Kla-Msa and Msa-Kla routes. This would have been the best for RU-vid creators because the railway was full of curves whereby you'd view all the coaches behind and those infront of you including the two 82-class engines that looked like elephants pulling the train. Crossing the rift valley was real fun. You can never have the view of Madaraka express engine as it's cruising and the windows don't open. No body will come close to that train to sell food items because the train stops are for passengers embarking and disembarking . The old EAR train had first class with two beds, second class with six beds and third class had seats only. This train had a fully equipped restaurant car (coach) that would serve you hot breakfast, lunch and supper for three days that you'd be entirely living in this village on wheels. You may need to try the SAFARI TRAIN from Nairobi to Kisumu.
