Easier ans In manga the eye was actually few stairs above and in the bush spying on sanemi, and he was still able to sense it. And then jump to it and crushed it. In anime it was as if eye was just at an arm's distance

In the manga, the eye made a sound by rustling the bush and Sanemi immediately sensed and catched it from the bush saying "the f*ck is this?*. So he actually moved from his location unlike in the anime wherein he is stationary.

Could be his blood making the eye drunk and attracting it to him. Could be Nakime actually trying to attach itself to him. Hey more simple explanation. The eye clone attacked so that sanmei would notice they are invaded. I bet this happens to every hashira . By this muzan was able to get every hashira to one point and get them all to infinity castle. He simply wanted to end every demon slayers at same time . Normla level demon slayers could be easily trapped. But for hashira it needed to be a moment of weakness. All of them were attacking and all in mid air. They dont have time to think

In the manga he hears it rustling in grass and picks it up beside the stairs. The eye did not attack him in the manga. In anime it would have looked uncool if a hashira who is very hotheaded were to take time rummaging around the bushes. Its just cooler if he grabbed it out of thin air. Plus drawing it would be easier

Everyone forgot how fast Sanemi is. He literally disappeared and came right towards Genya to pop his eyes. If it was not for Tanjiro, Genya might have lost his eyes. In case of Nakime's eye clones, there was no Tanjiro to save it, so it was Sanemi's speed which chuckled the clone.
