very innovative and thoughtful design. glad to know the minute details which were kept in mind while designing the campus with reference to the old NALANDA university. proud to be a resident of Nalanda district and hope that the construction starts soon and continues at desired pace. It will give a major boost to the development of the surrounding areas.
Wonderful and amazing if any foreigner whoud like to visit india come to this place instead of taj mahal. It is actually a part of Indian history. This should not be as only central university for the region, whole education city must be created consisting of IITs, AIIMS, IISER and other research centres ,Then only it may emerge as world best university, however there is greay need for develop educational cities for the purpose of higher research centres in every field.
I do support the redevelopment of this University but I don't think that 400 to 500 Acres of Land is going to be enough for a University that is being developed ti cater the needs for not only present Thoughts, Philosophies and Technologies but is also being developed for the future studies. Similarly Nalanda University shouldn't be the only central University in the region but a a whole Educational City must be created consisting of IITs, AIIMS, IIMs, IISER and other research institutions. The world is rapidly developing technologies and hence there is a greay need for India to develop its Educational cities for the Purpose of Higher research ib every field.
Have you seen the campus of IIT Guwahati, IIM Calcutta, NIT Silchar, their campus are full of lakes. IIT Bombay's campus is surrounded by 2 big lakes. If the NU campus will be full of trees, there won't be any problem. As they create their own ecosystem. And the buildings are designed in a way that they are Highly energy efficient. I think there will be no problem
Yes, there should be no external politics influence in our great nalanda university, it will not involve in any judgements or internal issues of nalanda university. This should given as an absolute autonomy to the Nalanda University, which they can decide what is good for the future of students.
Nalanda University can be build again if you dedicate yourself to research topics of the Study at Nalanda University and teach them unbiasedly to eager students. Teach both the teachings of the Buddhist Masters that taught there as well as the Hindu Acharyas' teachings. I can hint that the teachings of the Ancient Buddhist Master"a who taught at Nalanda University was preserved in the Tibetan Buddhist Monasteries. Then you can build the actual University as it once was.

Can you please highlight why the alignment of Kalachakra hall. Traditionally such structures are East-West aligned, but in this new construction, the alignment is weird.

Vikas Kumar thanks for your concerns but what is posted in nu troll is unfortunately true..I and others in the university had to pay a big price to find out..if u go through each post carefully u can understand the pathetic condition of the students
