Working across media since the 1960s, Paik established himself as an early innovator of video art, setting the scene for many of today’s contemporary art practices. Through groundbreaking performances, immersive artworks, and interdisciplinary collaborations, Paik established new approaches to music and television, and changed the way we look at screens.
