@@alalexander9697 true . There are many tribes in South Africa and different races . Almost each has their own accent , and then it depends on the school you attend . Example many people think Trevor Noah is from Britain, maybe his school wanted them to have a British accent . So the accent you hear here is mostly from a mixed race of south africa , of which their history is unique and intriguing to say the least . It varies from tribe to tribe and school training.

I think people don’t necessarily think them in the vegetable category because unless they’re something like green beans, they are nutritionally considered more a “protein” and don’t get lumped into the category of vegetables.

Africa we don’t take fat to be offensive. My parents has been in USA & Canada for 30years but still keep telling me to eat more to be a little fat and that I need some flesh. It’s very true the mother meant they’ve been well fed..Africa parents also love to see their children to be thick😁
