I’m also American and my initial reaction was like Steve’s. Then I remembered tuna and sardines. I eat neither. I mainly associate fish with being frozen, from the seafood market or people fishing. Beans and corn are about the few things I will eat that come out of a can. Most canned food is nasty to me. Taste like the can. I think maybe if you don’t eat something or eat it often you forget.

The African families are carefully selected. They are not going to pick the dirt poor families that live in mud huts. US families will get a bigger selection to make it more entertaining (and scary).

See, the privilege of being African is that we travel the world and we get to see these things.
