1. There is a total of 22 song samples.
2. The video is divided into the Zappaphile section [3.5 second long samples] and a Zappadabbler section [5.0 second section].
3. Only songs from albums released during Frank Zappa's lifetime are used for Name That FRANK ZAPPA Tune. With the exception of (a) Civilization Phaze III (b) The Lost Episodes.
4. There is a total of 125 points you can accumulate by scoring thusly:
a. [2 POINTS] correctly identify the song title (only 1 point if guessed in the 5 second Zappadabbler section).
b. [3 POINTS] correctly identify the album title (only 2 point if guessed in the 5 second Zappadabbler section).
c. [2 POINTS] for simply 'liking' the video.
d. [2 POINTS] leave a comment on the video
e. [3 POINTS] watch another video on the channel.
f. [6 POINTS] extra credit. Write something unique in the comment section and precede it with [Extra Credit].
g. [2 POINTS] for participation. Because this is the world we live in.

The entire Zappa song catalog is entered into an Excel spreadsheet (kindly reference #3 above in SCORING).
Each track was assigned a random number. The spreadsheet was then sorted in ascending order by the random number.
Increments of 22 songs, at random, are used to make this installment. I may have had a hand in selecting the order in which these 22 songs appear.

In the SCORING section, items c - g are pretty self explanatory. They are provided here to boost scores and, selfishly, enhance the channel. To be hardcore I subjectively assigned the following. You should know at least 70% of the song titles (22 x .7 = 15 x 2 points = 30 points) and you should know at least 40% of the albums from which the song title comes (22 x .4 = 9 x 3 points = 27 points).

BACKGROUND (by way of) EXPLAINATION
I have been obsessively listening to Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention since the summer of 1979. Nonstop Zappa consumerism with some MOI thrown in. These videos seek to provide context to Frank Zappa’s entire body of work.
