O Allah, Lord of the heavens, Lord of the earth, Lord of the Magnificent Throne, our Lord and Lord of all things, Splitter of the seed and the date stone, the One who revealed the Torah, the Injeel and the Criterion (Qur’ān); I seek Your protection from the evil of every thing You hold by the forehead (i.e. fully control). You are the First and there is nothing before You. You are the Last and there is nothing after You. You are the Most High and there is nothing above You. You are the Most Near and there is nothing closer than You. Pay the debts on our behalf and relieve us from poverty. Suhayl reports that Abū Sāliḥ would command us: “If one of you intends to go sleep, he should lie on his right side and say [the above].” Abū Saliḥ would narrate this from Abū Hurayrah (raḍiy Allāhu ‘anhu) who narrated it from the Prophet ﷺ.
