Thank you for this video. I've read that primary progressive aphasia early onset is insidious with subtle language changes. Can anyone speak to those subtle changes and what those symptoms would be ? I have notice changes in my speech for years. I do suffer from major depression/ mood disorder my entire life since 9 years old. Back in 2015.. I suffered a major depression episode / breakdown. I spent entire 3 years in bed, not being able to function. After 4 years of trial and error on so many combinations of antidepressants I was finally in remission. However, My brain never felt quite right afterwards. I was having trouble stringing words together. I could not pull words out of my brain during conversations. I would find myself avoiding speaking to anyone because I was embarrassed that my mind would blank out during conversations. It took years to get better, but never got completely back to my baseline.. However I always felt as if my brain was damage from all the drug trials. My brain was so confused for such a long time it never felt normal again. I was lightheaded, dizzy and my brain felt injured/ damaged. My cognitive abilities was also affected. Now, I find my speech is getting worse and even worse after getting the covid booster vaccine in May of 2022 Anyway, I would appreciate if someone could explain what are subtle language changes that will occur if someone has PPA. I would greatly appreciate it.
with depression, memory and cognitive functions decrease. But long-term use of sleeping pills and antidepressants can impair memory and lead to amnesia or even dementia. You definitely need to consult with your doctor ❤️🩹 Keep yourselves! and greetings to you from Ukraine from a speech and language therapist!🇺🇦
