Does anyone remember when Colleen called Flynn “bunny” when he was born so the baby bunnies made me think that they are like “practice” for when she has twins LMAO
I wish we could hear Erik sing more. His voice is soothing and he’s so talented. Maybe he could start a RU-vid channel and sing songs he wrote…please :)
He is a bit camera shy, even though they have a podcast and is getting comfortable, maybe he doesn't want his own RU-vid channel since it isn't his type. He also said in one of Colleen's videos (I don't know which one) that he would never get his own channel 💜

I get extremely excited when Colleen talks about her pregnancy. I wish she'd realize that we don't find it at all annoying when she talks about it- it excites us!!
I know!!!! I was in disbelief when she announced that she was pregnant, but when I realized she wasn't kidding, I just lost it (in a good way) immediately texted a few friends who are also fans, and said "OMG did you hear that Colleen is pregnant again after being completely adamant for the last 2 years that she would not be having any more babies?!?!?!!? And she's having twins??? Crazy, but super exciting! Talk about your pregnancy all you want, I will never get tired of it!!! I'm so happy for her and her family!
@@ananyarayaprol I told my mom about her pregnancy and her last pregnancy with Flynn and it took her like several minutes to figure out that I didn’t actually know the person I was talking about. She just makes us feel like part of her life
I think I remember her saying on her vlogs once that she got realllllyyyy bad acne during pregnancy. So I’m assuming it’s to hide her acne on her forehead. Cause sammmeeeee when I was preggers.

I love self checkout too - but I get sad seeing stores that are moving towards ALL self checkout because that means that they aren’t employing people (and of course they’re already not paying grocery workers a living wage as it is).
Agreed! It's taking away jobs. And, as much as I love self check out, it's a love/hate relationship. When I have $120 full cart, its either self check out, or, the one lane out of 20 that is open that has a long line of others with full Carts. I agree with eric on that one. I don't work there!
My Mom used to say, “don’t say your kid never does something, or it will do it.” Flynn is an adorable smart toddler, but he is normal and will have jealousy issues with the babies. He has grown up having 100% of your attention during covid, dividing that attention will be hard on him. I remember my toddler daughter cried when she saw her newborn brother.
And he will also be turning 3 when they're born, and that's a HUGE developmental shift. Fortunately they have lots of family on hand to help with the adjustment.
yeah I think its important to recognize that no matter how sweet and kind a child is, adjusting to siblings is hard, and there very well may be struggles esspecially going from being an only child who is also so used to his parents being home a LOT of the time, to then having to share that attention with TWO other kids. My cousin was in a similar situation, he was the only and then my aunt had twins and he was also a really sweet, kind, loved sharing kid, but its differnt when you have siblings. Sharing with adults, or sharing with cousins, or sharing just with other peers/kids your age is much different then sharing with a sibling who are around all the time and also have your parents love and support. Them being younger they are going to need more attention and care in a lot of ways and so . I think you just hope for the best but expect it to be hard, because its makes sense if it is for him, it doesnt mean Flynn is a bad kid if he has a hard time with it, its a pretty common thing to struggle with as a young kid, its a MAJOR change to their lives and one they are a little young to fully understand and grasp, so I think it can be a little unfair to go into it expecting that he is just going to be this great amazig, kind, big brother that loves the whole experiece, because that kind of ignores that he might have some valid feelings that dont fit into that pretty picture.
she already knows it will be hard you could just say “it will be hard but you will get through it” you don’t have to make her more worried and stressed then she already is
Kids only get jealous of their new siblings if they don’t feel loved and secure enough. Flynn is very secure and that’s why all he wants to do is protect the babies and make them laugh
I am the oldest of 4, and after me and my brother, my mom had and “oops” pregnancy that turned out to be twin boys. My dad left while she was pregnant, so suddenly she was a single mom of 4. She did it though, and she was amazing. So I know you guys got this! I will say that the triple stroller was a lifesaver for her. My middle brother was 2 1/2 when the twins were born so a little younger than Flynn, but having him in the stroller along with the twins made things so much easier for my mom. Also, their names are Kenny and Kyle. Some people don’t like the same letter thing but we think it’s pretty cute. I’ve also thought that names starting with A and B would be fun too since they always call them Twin A and Twin B during tests. Love you guys and hope all is well!! (Also, I really hope there is a bunny update in today’s vlog or the next podcast!!!)

Erik, Colleen, thank you so much for saving those baby bunnies. As a momma of 4 sweet domestic bunnies, I know how special they are, even if wild. My heart is full of gratitude for your compassion.
To carry all three kids, there’s toddler holders where Flynn would sit on your shoulders, and twin carriers that hold a baby on each side of your torso. A popular twin holder is called a Weego. There’s also 3 kid strollers.
This literally was our weekend. Our neighbor brought over a baby bunny that her dog had captured. The pup killed one bunny, but the other bunny was still alive. So we kept him overnight and then in the morning we took him to the wildlife center. And I’m just praying and praying that he makes it because if he can be inside of a dogs mouth, touched by little children and passed from one family to another. And live overnight. Then he definitely deserves a chance at life. Great job you two.
@@rachelwillis6902 Orrrrr maybe they get an attitude because they've had a long day, lots of customers are ungrateful or even downright hateful, and self-checkouts literally take jobs away from people. I love self-checkout, because I have social anxiety. But no one needs an employee discount for a SERVICE the store is providing. If you're upset that less workers are at registers, a discount would only make that worse. Even more people would choose self checkouts, and then the stores will cut down on employees even more.
It’s cool how Colleen is expecting twins and she got to take care of two bunny’s, Colleen is very nervous about her twins coming and so it’s cool that she was also nervous while taking care of these bunnies but she did it so well!!
I hate how Colleen always feels like she can’t say things bc her experiences of all these know it all 13 year olds and Karen’s jumping to correct her of shame her. Let the woman live. And THANK YOU for saving the bunnies! You absolutely did the kind thing to do:)

I used to be that self checkout person at Walmart and its much harder than it seems. At least at the location I was at. Nonstop had to be stocking and zoning the area, supervising and watching for theft, helping customers, doing basic tech support, filling in as a cashier, helping get batteries and other security locked items for customers, etc. Like often all at once. Until nothing needs to be done then I'd do nothing but that was less often but more miserable because of how bad my feet would hurt. Overall liked the job but yeah it was challenging.
so i’m definitely thankful that this is uploaded because i’m feeling an immense amount of anxiety/ocd flare up. thank you so much guys! it’s a wonderful distraction
This podcast is just the actual highlight of my week. I’m a janitor and listen to it while it work. Also you guys are amazing parents and I just love watching this amazing life you guys have. Wish I could have a baby right now 😭😁
Just me imagine one baby on eriks back and one on his chest and him holding Flynn’s hand makes me laugh. I just know he will either be freaking out or feel so cool and no in between
I rescued 2 new born bunnies a month ago because my dogs unfortunately killed the rest of their family, but I was able to keep them alive for two weeks before there was suddenly something wrong with the milk, and within hours the bunnies passed away. They are very sensitive animals and they take a lot of work but I am so happy you guys are doing your best to save them because they wouldn’t have made it without you
I'm Jewish. When you do something as wonderful as you did regarding the bunnies and Erik searching for an hour for the nest, it is called a mitzvah. It is the highest blessing with Gd to do giving selfless acts of grace. You guys are mitzvahed , for life btw. It never goes away.

You did great with the bunnies! When we, people in rescue, say leave them alone we're talking about finding them in nests not the way you found them. They very clearly needed help so good for you for helping! Fingers crossed for them!
I am not a big baby person or one who cries over videos easily, but I have been so invested in Colleen's twin pregnancy, and the song definitely got me in tears.
Yes the only down side of that is say the have another kid, (adopt, biological, whatever) and they choose a name that they love that isn’t F, that could be bad. All my siblings have C names except for me, and when I was younger I would always feel apart and excluded
Colleen! I have something called chronic vasovagal syncope - it's every symptom you described (I start to feel really heavy or light headed, lose my hearing, vision goes black, then have to get to the ground quickly etc). My specialist explained that for me it's a blood pressure issue, because my vagus nerve isn't working quiet right so my blood vessels aren't contracting hard enough to pump the blood around my body as quickly as it's needed (and so my body goes into protect mode, which is to faint). I know yours is due to pregnancy, but I was told by my specialist (and I've found it helps) that high sodium drinks help, or foods that are high in salt. Stuff like Gatorade and salty crisps really help if I'm feeling fainty (as well as sitting down) because the sodium brings my blood pressure back up.
You totally did the right thing with these bunnies. Baby rabbits normally do not leave the nest, they can not take care of themselves and would have been eaten or burned alive in the heat. The best thing for them of course a bunny expert, but giving them a warm place to sleep, trying to feed them and hoping they make it, is everything you can do them :)
We lost our kiddo for about 10 minutes at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. I almost had a complete panic attack! I was SO relieved when we finally caught sight of him walking around looking for us. He was freaked out, too, and stayed right by my side the rest of the time we were there.
