For some reason I feel like the little girl is going to be attached to the hip of Erik just like Flynn is to Colleen.😂 Idk I’m excited to see their family grow.🥰
@@Magnificent_Mustang Bro it was a joke…. Gus is perfectly fine, happy and loved…. If you actually watched her vlogs instead of just coming here to hate you would know that.
@@Magnificent_Mustang Do you realize how mean that is to say to someone? You, as a viewer, only see videos of a fraction of a percentage of how their household is run. There’s no way that you could possibly have more or better information about their pets’ lives and well-being. And even if you were in justice, bullying is not effective for any motive.
@@Magnificent_Mustang seriously?! They joke about Gus in that way because it’s his personality as a cat. They have never mistreated or neglected any of their pets!!
Right off the bat before finishing the episode I can definitely say as an OG viewer from 2007 that I miss the genuine fun that came from collabs I got SO hyped when you tyler harto Mamrie and grace would meet up it was like the marvel movie crossovers for me. 27 years old now and I still love to go back and rewatch! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Since Erik isn't a big fan of fast food, he should know that there was also a "Chicken nugget challenge", where you were supposed to try to eat 100 chicken nuggets in 10 minutes 😂😂
i’m halfway through the podcast and there still hasn’t been a shoutout to the iconic “smoothie challenge” or the blindfolded guess the body part challenge and i really want them to do the smoothie challenge !
@@kaidynnteglia7665 oh yeah no i was picturing more of a main or vlog channel video for those cause that wouldn’t work the best for audio podcast listeners 😂
Erik "I've been doing this for GENERATIONS" when talking abt soy sauce packets lmaoo I love the drama! And i can't agree more, there's such a pityful amount of sauce inside of 1 packet ...RELAX
Omg thank you. Soy sauce needs to Relax. Totally agree Erik. Maybe the soy sauce can be packaged like McDonald's BBQ sauce in small containers. Then you can dip your sushi in them...
@@robincammarata6706 yep, where I live a lot of sushi places put them in small plastic containers which is amazing. But unfortunately my favorite sushi place still uses packets 😂
I save this for doing chores around the house, cooking, cleaning, and hearing them spend time together, and without fail, they make me laugh out loud over and over. Thanks for the laughs
I love Colleen and Erik so much. Colleen being shocked when Erik asks if there are TikTok stars is the same as Erik being shocked when Colleen has never heard of legendary movie actors like Robert DeNiro or Jack Nicholson. They both think the other one is punking them. It’s awesome.
i love how colleen explains old school youtube to erik like he's a time traveler from 30 years in the future and doesn't know a thing hahaha and he really doesn't!
I LOOVVVEEE Erik's Who Needs To Relax Today!😂😂 He reminds us of the unnecessary stress we have to deal with everyday😭😭😂😂 I cant believe Colleen can open a soy sauce packet without getting it all over her hands and doesnt understand the struggle🥺😂
In response to Erik's relax; 1. In Australia, not sure about any where else, we have our soy sauce in little fish shaped containers. They are so good! Much better than the satchets of soy sauce. 2. You pre heat the oven so that the food you're cooking cooks at the same temperature the whole time it needs to cook. If you put it in straight away without pre heating, you're cooking the food from a low temperature up to a high temperature, there fore it is cooked unevenly. If that makes sense. Just ask Rosanna Pansino lol 3. Get Colleen a hairless kitten 😸
Embarrassing Mom onstage. Or Dad. Erik. Or Jessica whenever possible. Audience participation. And breaking character were the highlights of the show. For the grownups, at least.
When I had English as a second language classes I was told "to bake" is mostly for pastries while "to cook" can be used for pretty much everything else! now I tend to use "bake" when something goes inside the oven and "cook" for the stovetop
I went to San Diego recently and my family already has 2 cats and we decided to go to the humane society and we came out with a calico kitten and we are in love! It really isn’t that much harder having 3 cats now! Just more cuteness! I think getting another cat is a great idea Colleen!
That one fan with the cheeseballs was trying to tell you that she actually has a twin in real life, but that she thinks she was switched at birth with Miranda. So basically that her fraternal twin is not her actual twin, but Miranda is ;)
I’ve been an avid RU-vid viewer since 2013 and while the platform has definitely changed and so many of the people I used to watch don’t upload anymore - this app is still my main source of entertainment after all this time! the growth of the platform has allowed me to find so many new people over the years to watch in a way that’s like out with the old and in with the new (with the exception of you and a select few other ogs who haven’t left). RU-vid is def different now but if you find the right people it’s still an AMAZING form of entertainment with tons of great content to consume!
In Australia soy sauce comes in little plastic droppers shaped like fish! They always give too much and we have a whole drawer of unused spares 🤣 wish I could send them
When you pre-heat an oven, both the upper and bottom elements heat the oven. Once the oven is preheated, it cooks with only one element. So you risk burning food from the element that does not come on during regular "baking".
I am soooooo very happy for you Colleen that you have such a supportive, helpful, kind & caring doctor. You so deserve it after your last experience 💖💖💖 Compassion & understanding is how a dr should respond to their patients.
I found Colleen through Jojo. As a mom of a child who wasn't a Jojo fan, I had no idea who Jojo was but I kept seeing her all over Walmart/Target. One day I looked her up on youtube and came across the music video with Miranda. I remember my first impression of Miranda was first, "ewww" and also "who the heck is this girl and is she an actual person??". That led me to Colleen's youtube and I've been hooked ever since! I started watching Oct. 2018 so right before Flynn was born, it's so exciting to see her whole pregnancy this time!
@@lizalove91 Not for meats! High temp and fast cooking is the best for more tender meat. Slow cooking give time for the juices evaporate. I used to hate chicken breast until I learned out to cook it right 😂
Not gonna lie, I miss old school RU-vid. Love the collabs and challenges. Need to bring fun and easiness back to RU-vid. I enjoy RU-vid so much more than TikTok. I wish people would post more on RU-vid and create longer videos. Maybe I’m in the minority.
The reason why a pre heated oven matters is because when you pre heat it you are making the oven reach the temperature it needs to be, and when you put the food in the oven without pre heating ,the temperature is rising to the one it needs to be while its baking. So the food you made cooks at a way lower temperature on the beginning and at the correct temperature in the end if you don´t pre heat it.
I must agree with Erik on the soy sauce packets... Man those things are brutal. Its a constant battle. One time I thought I had the packet opened correctly and when I squeezed the soy sauce proceeded to SPEW across the room LOL
I love that ya’ll soak up the experience of your shows afterwards❤️ I hope anyone reading this finds that sort of love, both personally and professionally 🙏🏻☀️❤️
Yeah. I miss the OG VidCon circle of Vloggers. Shay, Charles, PVP, Wheezy, the Station 1, 2 & Maker Studios crowd. The Canada crowd, ApprecticeEh, and Corey. The OG English invasion with Louis, Ben, Alfie & Zoey, and the rest. The Contiki trips. And even Casey who hung at the tail end with those guys. All with rare uploads, now. And no invites to the Cons anymore. With the exception of Colleen who keeps going. Which is so great.
@@n4musica Yeah. I used to watch Tim & NigaHiga. Most of these guys are still around and post. Much less often, tho. And grow up, get married, have kids. And the community isn't the same as before. Mostly because people start out very young. Some just burnt out with perfectionist editing (Casey N.) posting every day. Channel views dying. Or just moving out of L.A. But mostly it's just growing up from 18 - 35 that changes the community. And it'll happen again with each wave of influencers.
Confession, I watch all of Colleens videos except Miranda. I've tried but I just don't handle the uncomfortableness well, which is a huge part of the bit. I have absolutely nothing against it, it's just not my thing. But I love Colleen as a person and watch everything else she does on RU-vid. Does that make me a horrible fan?
Nah. The Miranda part is my least favourite as well. I didn't really like it until I started watching more of Colleen and then I found it more fun because I knew the work and thought process and stuff she was pulling things from. And I grew up in the same kind of christian enviroment as Colleen so I recognize loads of those things in Miranda.
@@hernameispekka_Rebecca I did too. I was half in half out because it was my grandparents lifestyle so I was around it a lot but I was out of it enough that I saw the craziness of it all a lot younger. I completely admire her work ethic and everything that goes into Miranda. It's just not my thing personally. But I still admire everything that goes into it and how much she obviously loves it.
OMG...Thank God... Am I the only person who was stressed when they hadn't posted the podcast episode yet??? These people, and hearing their voices and comments are literately the only thing keeping my brain alive. Love them💛
I can 100% tell you that the transition in our family with five kids from two cats to three cats was seamless. It’s basically no different in the care aspect, you just get more love!
Now I want a full blown video of erik and colleen doing the whisper challenge!! 😂😂 I was dying laughing just watching the small clips of them doing the whisper challenge on here!
well i guess i'm really apart of erik and colleens family because i been watching colleen since i was 7 almost 8 years old and now i'm 15 turning 16 in april. i love you so much and i love watching you grow over the years❤️
god this podcast gave me so much nostalgia!! i remember being 16 and spending my day watching a bunch of collab videos and that's how i got to know most of the popular youtubers back then
i remember when i found out miranda and colleen were the same person, i was so mind blown. At the time i was 11 and would watch miranda obsessively and i once scrolled through her comment section and someone said "she's not actually miranda she's colleen ballinger" so i googled colleen and was so confused because i thought Miranda was real and it was crazy how colleen transformed into miranda. thought it was a cool anecdote i would share because of their segment of how she introduced herself to youtube, colleen & erik if you come across this i love you both and wish nothing but the best for you guys ❤
In Australia our take away soy sauce comes in little plastic fish bottles with red screw caps. They’re so good and you can control the flow of soy sauce so easily 👍
Hi! I’m about to be a freshman in high school and i’ve been watching you since I was in 2nd grade. I’ve learned so much from you and Erik but especially you because of how open you are. I love you so much
I love hearing about the evolution of RU-vid as I grew up with it as it came about. I wanted so badly to post RU-vid videos as a kid but wasn't allowed until I got into secondary school (11/12 years old - which I feel is still way too young haha) and I've been posting ever since. RU-vidrs didn't exist at first but I had been 'vlogging' my life with a camcorder at 4 years old before the term had been invented, just because I really wanted to be a filmmaker! You're a huuuuuge inspiration to me, Colleen, because you make me feel like I can achieve my dreams if I keep working hard and stay motivated. And now Erik inspires me too!! Love you both!
Colleen I'm sorry you've had 'bad' experiences with doctors I'm glad you found your fit.. But please understand that not all doctors can provide this texting service for you 24/7.. Some doctors are super busy and have multiple patients.. If their job required them to answer every patient right away 24/7 they wouldn't have normal lives, I doubt they would have time to sleep. Also their approach is to not make you worry or panic so they simply tell you everything is Okay! They wouldn't tell you that if there's something wrong they're responsible for you. So please don't be so hard on doctors they act based reasons and protocol.. Your doctor probably charges more and has a few patients that way she can really keep up. Also it's not generally advised in the medical field to get into your petients' personal lives. I hope you understand that. Pleasing every patient is a really tough job.
RU-vid used to be challenges and collaborations. Now it’s just sponsors 😆 No complaints here tho, glad you’re being supported (and thankful you put the info on the screen so I know how long to scan forward)
Every week i see that these episodes are 90 minutes long and i say "I don't have time for that, i'll just watch a bit"... AND THEN... EVERY week i end up sitting here and watching ALL of the episode and LOVE IT!!! 💖
