*hi pete!so, after a year, if you can turn back time again, do you make the same option?i whant to buy more stuff, but i have a big doubt...i whant to buy this phenol and the moog mother 32 too, but i dont know if i change my mind for an elektron analog four, cuz its a great machine...i allready have the jd-xa, mx-1, tr-8, tb-3, vt-3, and elektron rytm...so, i dont know, if i get together with my stuff the phenol and mother 32, or the a4...i whant to make deep house...if its your money, and you are on my situation, what do you do?i dont whant to regret latter about my choice...thank you very much pete!!!*
+dj digital addict Buy all the synths :) Each of them is different. Of the ones you mentioned, the one that gets you furthest is probably the A4. It has four synth voices, a great sequencer, on-board effects, and more. The Phenol is fun as is the Mother-32. I have all of them and wouldn't return any of them. So if I were you, I'd probably buy an Analog Four to go with your Rtym. That said, you already have a good setup, so you know better than anyone where the holes are and what you really need. The JD-Xa and TR-8 along can get you really far.
Joe Cleveland You pay for the flexibility. This is what it is and it ain't nothing else. Also, there's some range in the EuroRack format Modules. Not all of them are so expensive.
