To be honest for me it looked like you were struggling a little bit with this guitar. These pickups didn't sound right for some strange reason. Still, love this song thou :)

@jackvial5591
@jackvial5591 6 лет назад
Standard tuning for a seven string would be BEADGbe. So it’s he same as a six string but with an extra low B string.
@Goldarlives
@Goldarlives 6 лет назад
How exactly would you tune that Ab Eb Ab Eb Ab Bb tuning though? Is it like a low Ab, then an octave up, then another octave up on the third Ab?

Florian Karim I saw his fav music man headstock in the background, but it sure as hell seems like it. I think that was a signature model it had his signature on the body above the pickups.5

I wouldn't take this as the best example. It's just a NAMM performance playing to a backing track. Listen to the original. This song is about expression, and not about demonstration. It's about giving space to the notes, because each of them matters. And David is genious at this.
@spider7venstring

It doesn't feel the same way when you listen to the whole album. You will understand the emotions better. But if you are into more progressive playing, then it's alright :)

He is flat-out my favorite artist ever live. I'll see him every single time he comes to Colorado. His instrument (particularly his wood guerilla) is an extension of his body and he completely commands it. The dude is incredible- don't judge based off a single RU-vid video of him playing a strandberg that doesn't seem to tonally jive.
