I once bought a lower level Tama set and in NO TIME the cover over the Bass Drum shell was rising off!!! Pass on Tama, PERIOD!!!

The starclassic drums need to made back in Japan with the wooden air vents. Love my MIJ Starclassics. Unfortunately the Tama booth looks a bit weak.

As much as I am a HUGE tama fanboy(as you can notice on my channel): dammmn : there's not much interesting stuff here!!! Those wrap on the superstar are UGLY!! .. That crimson red on the starclassic: looks really nice!.. But no add on available. .. I'll be excited when (if ever) Tama will bring back POWER TOMS (not only in the quite UNAFFORDABLE Star line) in an economically affordable way!! (Please bring back artstar look !!(use your superstar maple infrastructure!!)) Cheers!

@@RimshotsandNamaste Unfortunately, they never bring back power toms out of the custom order in highest line. Because they don't want to give us "more wood" for acceptable price. Making drums is huge business not making the drummer's dreams come true. Less materials, higher prices, take it or leave it. Marketing plays a big role in convincing drummers that shallow drums are better than deep ones.
