Depends on the population factor. Only Bangalore has much population worth Metro service other big cities like Mysore, Hubbali-Dharwad, Mangalore, Gulbarga and Belagavi are not that populated to have a metro. We have good bus services so as of now, Metro is not required.

These Chinese systems are generally unreliable and unsafe , I hope they don't cause Bengaluru Metro`s first major accident , I will never step on these Chinese trains. I wonder why "Make in India" didn't play its role here. I am worried for the practical safety for these trains . Even if one metro come from china and the others are manufactured here , its still a chinese technology and system
