I understand how strong Namor is while he’s not in water so it’s understandable that he’d be that much more stronger in water and in all honesty I like Namor but come on really this man took on a pretty good roster of Avengers(one that I’d be comfortable with) and won you may as well say but in the A vs X he was beaten single handily by The Thing “IN THE WATER!” like come on I know characters and things change from writer to writer but they seriously need to start having some kind of consistency or something like he either can take on a whole group of Avengers while in the water or he can’t take on a whole group in the water or something
House of Pain yes this fight is indeed pis. Namor has never no sold attacks from mid tiers like she hulk(amped btw) or iron man who has fought him underwater. Plus captain marvel is actually stronger than tony so again this fight is just inconsistent badass but extremely inconsistent

I love Thor, he is my second favorite hero, but I am very very glad Aaron made Namor a bad ass here. He is definitely underrated, and underwritten, and deserves some time in the spotlight.

I'm sorry, as cool as the fight was, I can't get over the fact that Namor, of all people, was able to effortlessly stop Thor's blow. I know it is a much weaker hammer, but even a barehanded Thor should be enough to handle water amped Namor. It is almost like Jason Aaron, along with most of Marvel, has randomly decided they don't like Thor anymore.
Namor isn't weak, but he is not as strong as the the Thunder god. Remember Thor holds back even at the expense of losing a fight for fear of destroying a planet. Thor has shown himself able to stagger galactus and even make him fear for life with a God blast at one point. He has fought the silver surfer throughout the cosmos.
Its funny how so many are surprised that Namor handles a team of superheroes with ease underwater. This is the result of shit writing for the past 30+ years de-powering Namor and jobbing him. Anyone who dives into the golden age and silver age knows that this is normal for the avenging son and it typically requires a team to take him out. Sorry to burst your bubble folks but Namor is one of the big guns.

God, these writers really hate Thor. He’s an Asgardian god- the power level he should have is more than enough to handle most anything, including Namor. That said, I do like this Namor- proud, defiant and unbowed against a team of Avengers. And the end, when he tells Cap to kiss off- excellent. I don’t blame Namor- they killed his people. As the ruler and leader of Atlantis, he HAS to do something. It’s his duty- and the Avengers should understand that

Yeesh,they should've just tossed Immortal Hulk,Sentry,and Namor at the Dark Celestials. Clearly would've been enough. Also,why didn't Robbie try out the Penance Stare on Namor? It's worked on those without remorse(I can use Starbrand as an example),so it'd be pretty effective.
Did Namor commit a crime so fucked that he earned a fate worse than death? from what I see here he just wants justice but is going about it in a way that will do more harm than good and the avengers are just trying to make him chill the fuck out, and I think the penance stare is exclusive for people that have done immensely horrifying and sinister crimes, so it would've been overkill.

This is the second version of Namor. I read the original before the Illuminati/Kabal/Wakanda stories. Marvel Comics always favored the host super hero. For the Sub Mariner issue he could beat Iron Man, Thor, Hulk then lose when he was a guest in any of the other super hero hosted issues. I read Sub Mariner for about 3 years or so before losing interest. I think everyone will have their own favorite version. So long as you have fun. That's all that matters. Fun = no politics.
You Know Captain Marvel is weak when she does no damage (she’s does no damage to nobody anyways) but not only that Thor and Ironman was in that blast and it didn’t even scratch them.

Thor and Namor has fought over 5 times and only once has Thor beaten him with oneshot which was only for few seconds cos Namor stook up , Thor >>Namor but Namor can trade blows with him fine , he's done it multiple times and here Thor is fighting him underwater
I like this Namor, I like the new look and how he's more of a anti-hero than he was before, but how is he this strong. This almost the tier of power he had in Avengers vs X-Men when he had 1/5 of the Phoenix Force.
She got turned into a Grey Savage She Hulk,but suddenly became green again. Would've been more interesting if she stayed normal She-Hulk,but had to control her hatred or depression or something to keep from turning Grey Savage. Grey Savage She-Hulk did hurt She-"Thor" a lot in a single hit,though.
That was cool to see Namor rule but it was not the best writing. They could have made the fighting longer and more creative. They could have made Namor badass and OP but not act as if like the blows don't work. Also why does Marvel want to change Namor's look. Keep him in his classic shorts. We need to see his muscles. He looks more magestic when you see his whole body.

Why has everyone missed that Thor was striking to stop, not even seriously injure, a Namor he assumed was weaker than he currently is? Like, if Thor swung at Ironman, out of his armor, but Ironman had made his armor dermal(under his skin) and stopped the blow, it wouldn't be a strike against Thor, it would be Thor striking at a human and not wanting to murder Tony. Same thing here.
Namor has to survive in the ocean depths where the pressures would crush an atomic sub and the darkness is eternal so he basically is invulnerable down there and hulk strong with night vision don’t underrate him. The avengers swimming around is just stupid cap and the panther would have been crushed flat . As for Thor what use is he now that the strong girls are in the team marvel has emasculated him sacrificed him on the alter of political correctness leave the mortals to their petty squabbles Odinson and return to Asgard 👍
Ian Wilkinson um you do realize iron man has survived country lvl blast and nukes(which btw are mountain lvl depending on how strong it is) and marvel and she hulk scale to characters like namor. Tho for cap and bp there is no explanation

One of the stupidest fights in marvel. Namor at his best can probably shatter mountain like structures and sink islands(and honestly that's probably not something he can do) she-hulk can actually do all that stuff on her own and Robbie literally has hellfire. But the worst part is that Thor, the guy who's fights shatter planets and moons and who is actually strongest when he's on earth didn't one shot namor. Water amp or not namor has never been depicted as having power that absurd and fighting hulk is not a notable feat in this context- spiderman has fought hulk and has caught cars thrown at him by hulk with ease. Does that mean spiderman is as strong as namor or even she-hulk? If we go by this terrible comics logic then Spider-Man is now a street level hero that can contend with planet shattering gods.

All he needs now is a big ol' golden trident-or better yet a trident tattoo thrusting up from his groin and pronging out across his chest-a giant seahorse with a tricked-out saddle, and a wicked-looking electric guitar strapped to his back.
