Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence and likewise also the wife unto the husband. So it is not man made it is originally biblical. Obedience and disobedience are in the Bible thats why the Bible gives us what to do and what not to do. With rape and killing that has everything to do with the evil in men's heart making their own free will choices.
