Nancy Stafford Interviews Geoffrey Deuel for VICTORYNOW FILMS AND TV NETWORK On ROKU 

Ms. Stafford has written a few religious books. She does a great interview, does not interrupt, lets the guest entertain us. Nice that she comes across as kind and sweet. Tall, pretty and kind. What a combination. Remember the Deuel brothers when they were first starting out. Alias Smith and Jones a favorite of mine. Thanks Geoffery Deuel. Such a sad lost December 31, 1971. I loved alias Smith and Jones I was ONLY 7 but Jeff looks so much like Peter back then they should have put him on the show when Pete died so hard to believe Peter committed suicide his career was so good from the beginning then the hit Alias Smith & Jones I just watched it this morning 6/20)2020 on spectrum channel 171 here in Long Beach CA back to back episodes so many memories of that show I've seen every episode I hadn't seen in years but now I know where to find it I was taken right back one of the episodes had Diana Mulder and the second one had Fernando Lama's and Diana hyland and it's been 49 yrs yet I remembered the whole episode like it was last week WOW 😮 now I'll be watching every time it's on from now on he was so so handsome so was Jeff but Pete just had that something whether you were 7 like me then or 55 now like now he just drew you in that smile and charm such a huge loss to us all who loved him then and still today 💔 rest in peace Pete we still miss and love you so much

Such a delight to run into this! Watched the whole thing. Right out of University, I did a Play with Geoff Deuel in Tampa, Florida, called "Short Eyes" at the old Playmakers Theatre (at the Cuban Club!). He told me stories about his brother. About 7 years later, I'm in LA on a "Matlock" set (a two-Parter) and, although I did not have any direct scenes with Nancy Stafford, I did see her on the set (we were on location when I saw her) and spoke to her briefly. What a GREAT surpise to see them both together here, she interviewing him! How I would love to run into Geoff again! So many years! And my surprise once when I finally watched "Chisum" and saw him as 'Billy The Kid'!!!......

I loved Pete Duel and cried hard when i heard of his death. We forget however how something like his death affects his family members. I mean if it affected me and others like me, how much more did it affect his brother? Honest man and true to himself and to his brother. Live long and prosper Geoffrey. Much love x

Wonderful to see this interview with Geoffrey Deuel . A lot of us have waited so long , hoping to hear from him , someday . So interesting to listen to his anecdotes , from his own acting career , and those he worked with ...to his honest feelings about the tragic death of his brother , Pete Duel. I know many of Pete's fans , are so grateful to Jan Busell , who has been keeping his memory alive , by running his Fan Club for him , since 1973..Long before the Internet made everything so easily accessible . Really looking forward to hearing more from Geoffrey , and his Writings . Thanks so much for posting this .

i loved pete and still do because he had such a promising career ahead of him and saddens me that he passed away. i still cry. he was my biggest crush.

I had the opportunity to know Geoffrey very well. Geoff was a man of great integrity, honesty and he was intellectually brilliant. He was extremely honest in this interview. I am so happy to see that he matured and grew to be a really fine man as he overcame his challenges . He was one of those true friends one hopes to have on life. Bless you Jackie.

Really liked his brother Pete, so tragic gone at 31, just can imagine what he might have been he was a great actor.

I saw him in a episode of high chapprell I taught it was pete had to wait till the end to see credit Jeffrey was so handsome only had a small part in it he was great in that espoisde

Nancy Stafford is a wonderful host. She makes guests feel comfortable.

Dear Nancy could have enthralled the audience and removed some of this interview's 'dead air' by being more 'on the ball' of Geoffrey's credits. And their connection to Peter. Since she and the live audience were so anxious to hear about Peter, why not: 1) What a kick for you and your brother to guest star together on a Robert Stack segment of NBC's esteemed 90-minute drama, "The Name of the Game". And, you got to film on that beautiful location in the San Bernardino Forest, Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear Lake. We know Peter loved the outdoors, so that might have appealed to him, in addition to playing a villain for a change. Recollections? . . . For instance, how did you two get along with Stack and his co-star, Susan Saint James? Susan, a contract player at Universal like your brother, who guest starred in the pilot for "Alias Smith and Jones". 2) You appeared on "The Flying Nun" starring Sally Field -- who previously played your brother's brother-in-law on "Gidget" for its entire season. For all those half hours Sally and Peter filmed she surely had some anecdotes she was eager to share. And how was your experience working with Sally and what had Peter told you about her before you went to the set? In his bio they're described as friends, off the set. 3) What were Peter's true feelings about starring in "Alias Smith and Jones"? Ben Murphy, locations, scripts, Universal, guest stars -- endless possibilities for lively discussion. 4) What reservations did you have and express about taking over his part in "Alias Smith and Jones" when Universal approached you after Peter's suicide? Missed opportunities. Sigh.

Thank you very much for posting this interview for those of us not fortunate enough to attend these gatherings in person. Geoffrey is an intelligent, candid and charming person and talented actor in his own right and has many fans of his own in addition to so many of Peter’s. Here he mentions the wonderful Laura Moretti who has devoted so much of her time and expertise to them both. Peter lives on in memory thanks to their efforts and those of other fans and friends. It would be wonderful to have Geoffrey publish a book about his family and childhood. Fans are always anxious to learn more. And Nancy, not only a talent herself, is also a wonderful interviewer.

I came here because I was watching Mannix on MeTv... When they showed the credits it said Geoff Deul, I thought oh Peter must've used another name when he first started out. Heck, I didn't know he had a brother that looked just like em!!! 😕😕😊😊😊

Back then I didn't know Pete had a brother and, since there was no Internet at that time, I had to wait for the closing credits to check the name. Best wishes from Brazil!
