You initially heard Chad Smith. There's a video of Chad giving Nandi pointers. She seriously started when she was five. If her playing at thirteen blows you away, then, you've gotta see her, at ten, playing Everlong live with the Foo Fighters. She's a multi-instrumentalist (keyboards, saxophone, bass, guitar and drums)

Nandi is a great way to spend a few hours watching her performances. She is pure joy to watch!

She first got noticed when she challenged Dave Grohl to a drum off/battle on line. As suggested already, it's worth a watch!

if u like the way Nandi plays the drums check out Def Leppard's drummer Rick Allen if u have not! he lost his left arm in a car accident back in the 1980's and built a drum kit where he can he can use his left foot to play the drums like if he still had his arm!
