Nandi Jola’s decolonisation of museums journey 

This film will introduce you to Nandi Jola’s journey reflecting on a history of South Africa in objects on the island of Ireland. It concludes with a performance of ‘Consecrate the Mass: The Cure for Typhoid in 1902’, a poem which reflects on the Boer War concentration camps. This poem was commissioned by National Museums NI as part of our Inclusive Global Histories programme in 2023
