Professor Chad Mirkin was the keynote speaker at the 2012 AFOSR Spring Review on 6 March.
His AFOSR-supported research that led to his invention of dip pen nanotechnology was listed as one of the top 100 scientific discoveries that changed the world by National Geographic Magazine.
