My wife was very angry with me after I convinced her to watch this movie. She told me “that’s an hour and a half I’ll never get back!” A couple days later, I caught her watching it by herself. She loves the movie now.

knowing that steak throw and sound is real, just made my day

The movie is so quotable, that’s why it’s still adored.

My late husband came across the movie a few years ago. I heard him laughing so hard that I went to check it out. I ended up sitting down next to him and we couldn't stop watching or laughing. We recorded it, plus everytime it was on t.v., we'd stop whatever we were doing and watch it. Our favorite line was, 'are you gonna eat those tots'? Then he smashes them with his fist! LOL. We entertained the idea of getting a tee shirt with that saying. Not everyone 'gets' the show. They think it's silly or just don't have the sense of humor that we do. I wish Kip and LaFawnduh could have been there too. She was perfect for the character. Every character was just spot-on funny as hell. I think it's a cult movie now and well-deserved. We never could figure out the time frame for the movie. I guess it was the 80's. When I need to laugh, I watch it!

I'll never forget leaving the theater confused as to what I just watched. I wasn't sure, but my hunch was, that I just witnessed something special. As the hours and days went on, I found myself slowly catching up to how amazing the film was. I went back over and over again. Greatness should take a while set in! If it had been instant, it would simply have been slap-stick. This was SO much more! Thank you everyone involved!

I'm proud to say that I named my dog Napoleon A. Dynamite 13 years ago and hes still kicking just like this film.

I didn’t realize until recently that the writer and director for Napoleon Dynamite also wrote and directed Nacho Libre. Then thinking back I realized how similar the styles of those movies are. So many quotable lines in both movies.

Somewhere between Jared Hess' script and the cast members' delivery, EVERY SINGLE LINE of the movie is quotable.

"Do you think anyone wants a roundhouse kick to the face while I'm wearing these bad boys?" is one of the best lines in cinematic history.

Napoleon Dynamite is one of the kindest and most honest films ever made. God-bless and thank you to all who helped bring it to life.

That’s hilarious that the dance sequence was totally unchoreographed. It’s one of the best and most famous dance sequences in movie history.

I had such a huge crush on Jon Heder in 2005 when I googled him and found out he was actually hot and doesn't look anything like Napoleon.

The acting was incredibly good in that movie. Right down to facial expression and body language. The subtle awkwardness between characters made it seem so real and believable.

Part of the appeal of this movie is that the cast are fans of it as well. I love interviews of all of these people because I can totally see myself watching and enjoying Napolean Dynamite with them.

This makes me so happy to see the actors in real life out of character. I love the movie, honestly one of the rarest and most unique ever made. It had a budget of 400k but made 50 million, and it was first time film makers. It’s sheer brilliance.

This was me and my wifes favorite movie when we dated. Saw it 5 times in the theatre. And now our little son quotes this movie all the time. Full circle of life. it's a fun great movie.

I just watched it again today. 😂 It never gets old. And I love that Burger King had Napoleon and Pedro on in an ad w/in the last year.

The most hilarious and underrated quote in the whole movie is to me when Pedro says, "...Maybe I'll build her a cake or something..." Dear Jesus I could not stop laughing at that when I was 16 or 17 years old, and I'm almost the Biological age of Jesus and it still kills me.
