Im so happy that boxing is back up and running in this country. Fiji is my second home and there is so much talent here. In October this year I took 2 Fijian fighters to NZ National Championships and one of them beat the defending NZ champ which is crazy considering the training facilities we have here. We need to improve some of the gyms so these fighters can work on there skills and have proper trainers. I knocked this guy out but he came to fight, he gave me trouble in the first round.
this is not a sport...its just a money making games.....people in fiji hav lost the passion of boxing and that it shows clearly that we dont hav quality and entertaining boxers like before.....any way vinaka to my Tongan brother for the win...
soulbrotherify Your right, I should have helped him train.. I should never let an opponent come in like that. Especially on my 2nd pro fight.. My bad bro.
nah what i meant is go overseas and better your career there. No real fighters in Fiji especially in Heavyweight division. Age is catching up and you can't be fighting grog swipers and drunks who don't act as professionals that is eat or train well especially the heavyweight divisions in Fiji who just come to fight to earn some cash for more grog and beers irrespective if they win or lose. Go overseas and fight professional boxers in Heavyweight divisions it will help in your career.
