Just wanna throw this out, when Dilip did THE drop live, the crowd was so loud that they had to significantly lower the audience’s volume. The difference is also greatly noticeable even in the livestream compared to this. As D-Low said, which I fully agree, Dilip might’ve not deserved the win, but he unquestionably made the highlight of the entire competition with that drop.

One of the best solo battles for 2023. Throughout his performances at GBB 2023, Napom destroys his opponents with his experience and confidence on stage. Despite the fact that he freestyles and often uses liprolls, his rounds are always spectacular and aggressive. Dilip's drop in the second round is mind blowing. Coolest battle, coolest reaction.

When you watched the livestream, so premastering etc... Dilip's drop made him almost vanish in the soundscape. The crowd went so god damn crazy, and i swear they've lowered the volume of the crowd by atleast 500%. Because on the live it was like the crowd just exploded.

also that creepin on the beat DnB was freestyle on the spot and the first time i've heard him do that in 5 years and also its so hard to hit the snares so clean with that sub bass

The dilip "this is how you do it" reminded me of River vs B-art where B-art did a decent counter initially to the River Spitsnare but fucked up the timing and combos later on. And river came up with how B-Art does, then upgraded to how River himself does it and then proceeded to say No and upgrades it one more level.

By the way, Dilip was very sick during this battle, his nose was bleeding and his throat was sore, that's why the 1st round from him feels like it's not enough and the 2nd round I can't believe he pulled off that drop. There's a chance we might not see him again competing at the GBB since he himself said he was getting tired of battling.
