Glad to see Judge Mathis give a suggestion that can really help that guy. Those meeting's in alot of cases can make a world of difference on how you deal with most aspects of life after addiction. That program saves lives for a lot of people
Yeah 5% out of 100. But better odds than the lottery! If a person don't wanna be clean NOTHING will make you clean, you just get more sick inside. But 12 step is like a religion, we beleive, we don't question we just do as we're told. 🙄😥
There's more and more sciencific evidence showing how and why 12 step programs work. "The Power of Habit" book contains a good summary of recent research.
Bro hate to say it cause I hate that fuckin shyt but na actually works even tho I fkn hate going and otw I'm like why am I going here but as soon i get there and they start talking I'm like fuck... I know why I'm here and worst thing is .. i actually need to be here and begin to feel thankful I went
I used to be both. Honestly, meth tweakers(and I've been one of them too) are the worst. Constantly thinking the FBI is watching out for them. Like nobody paid millions of dollars for a drone just to watch you take apart your lawn mower at 3 in the morning, Kyle.
OMG NOT everyone need 12 steps to get clean. IF you really wanna be clean you will become it. Yes you need help, new playmates & lifestyle, get help with detox, but 12 step aint the only way. Btw their succesrate is one og the lowest, so I don't understand WHY some countries use it into the court system ! 😒 It's dangerous towards the people within the program and the person who don't have the wish to be clean. 🤪 We're all unique and we all must find our own path . Ps. If you're from 12 steps and try to argue with me, plz read the 12 traditions and the concepts first, thx. 😵😅 Love ❤️ & peace ✌️ to you all 🙏🌻 It's like saying you won't have a good life if you're not a xxxxc religion! That's BS. Ppl are in title to choose their own religion or not at all for that matter! I like this judge, but disagree on 12 step isdue, agree he need new playmates but you can find that outside of 12 steps. It's dangerous to push ppl into a religion, club, cult, group etc for they just get more "I won't do it"! It's much better to explain : It's a good idea to seek help, find new friends , a passion , hobby, job whatever, in your community! But to order or say you must go to 12 step is in my opinion Bull crap 💩 BUT it's better to attend a meeting than nothing at all, (I'm not even sure, but I'm still researching what it really is, 12 step)
Narcotics Anonymous has a 100% success rate. No one who lives the NA program relapses. Those are facts. Only through total abstinence can recovery be attained.
