@@craloslius8631 im sorry i just rewatched that video and it wasnt the video i thought of ,i got it mixed up with another , ill try to find the right one , but if im not able to find it basicly he just dose alot of normal reasearch and then gets ahold of the artists family and staff and friends as much as he can and asks them questions before hand. The ted talked just touched on the point of just asking and not so much of the process
"nardwuar, I'd like to-" "Matthew, is it true that you started visiting stripclubs after 11pm everyday to cope with your sadness after your sons death in a car accident??" "Yo..what the fuck?"
@@whotfisjayy_ i mean, he goes very far to make an interesting interview (the funny but cool gifts, digging deep for questions that make the guests smile, etc). i even saw someone's reply to a comment saying "why is no one talking about the creepy guy interviewing them"
You can tell Billie’s family has talked with nardwuar beforehand, it’s just funny to see how Billie Eilish is completely confused and the rest of them come into the camera knowing exactly what nard is talking about
@@pigoman6566In the Pharrell interview they both mentioned remote viewing. If you don't know, there's now official knowledge on psychic on the CIA website.
You can see how much her brother respects nard like im sure when he grew up he was seeing all of the interviews nard did and now he is in one thats just fucking cool
When you were three years old, you made the observation that your friend Sally, who was wearing a pink onesie, always slept on her right side and snored while sleeping at sleepovers with your friend Lance. Can you elaborate on that a little bit? I also have the exact sleeping bag you wore that night! 🎤🤓
@@beverlyb1805 yeah, 5 years ago you had a stay at home vacation by yourself and in the middle of the week at 2 a.m. you thought this..... could you explain why you thought this? 0-0 but i have something for you can you tell me about this ring? it was your great great great great great grandmother's from 30 b.c.e. 0-0
HAHAHAHA the way Bil described Cruella de Ville got me weezin 😂 she thought it through so hard while it literally just means “the cruel of the town” de Ville means the Town in French lmao
I think this whole schtick with the family being around works great for Nardwuar. He's so family friendly and he gets the chance to hand out even more gifts and freak more poeple out with the overly personal questions. Just imagine a Schnoop Doggy Dog interview with his mom around. I hope we will see it soon
A woman with sharp nails once deliberately slit this guy's scrotum in anger. Stuff was hanging out. They had to put his junk back in and sew that shut. Glad I wasn't the EMT answering the call that day!
@Carson Jacob Snoop actually loves nardwuar gifts. They have a sort of running joke where snoop "steals" them off him. He really loved the smokefest volume 1 gift and he said he still listens to the vinyls he got off him.
Bro i love billie so much shes so genuine but i feel horrible because u can see her ticing trying to hide it 💔 girl ur beautiful u were so brave to come out about it later on
Nardwuar transcends the interview concept, he’s really just a guy that cares a whole lot and loves making people smile with random factoids / mentions of important parts of their lives (also gifts )
Man I started watching Nardwuar in the late 90s/early 2000’s.. my aunt used to work with him on MuchMusic she was the Director of Electronic Media Art for Universal Music Record Company from 1989-2007. But I never ever thought that Nardwuar would be relevant as he is, or even still around at this point in this day and age. He’s a legend, and realistically probably one of the best journalist/interviewers of all time. His extensive research, his passion and knowledge, the character he built, his personality, his energy.. it will never be matched or duplicated. KEEP ON ROCKIN’ IN THE FREE WORLD ANDDD, DOOT DOOLA DOOT DOO..........
How did she "graduate at 15?" Seems to me like their parents didn't give them a proper education at all. If they weren't so fortunate as to blow up as a duo they would be FUCKED in the real world. I remember her saying in one interview that her mother taught her math through cooking and shapes, wonder how she got pass a 5th grade education with that.🤔
I was lucky enough to meet Nardwuar around ten years ago, on the steps of the SUB at UBC, and he actually *did* have a gift for me. I mentioned that I'd ordered his DVDs a few years prior but lost the novelty pen that came with them, and he disappeared back into the building and returned with a replacement pen for me. It was easily the high point of my year
@@BlueEyes-WhiteDrag0n It's totally true. Would have been either late 2008 or early '09. He's a genuinely kind, good-hearted guy... and yes, wholesome too. I kept trying to pass him the joint I had going, but he politely declined each time. What really blew my mind was when I told him we'd spoken over email years prior (I sent him a bootleg of a Minor Threat show mentioned in his Ian Mackaye interview) and he immediately went "Oh yes, I remember I listened to that recording while I was shoveling snow, you sent it on [exact date] and that was the day North Vancouver recieved [exact amount] of snow and..." The guy truly has a photographic memory.
Nardwuar is so underrated. He doesn’t ask the most basic questions and he gets everyone MEANINGFUL gifts, and does all of his research the people he interviews.
@@alanuchiha I don't know the first thing about you, but that's something a boring, uninspired personality would say. And most normal people would agree with you, but most normal people aren't famous. Just saying 🤔.
