This is the best nardwuar interview oh my god they were so cute. A lot of the time the people he interviews look uncomfortable or annoyed but this was great!

Wow this is so great. That he takes the time to round gifts up that his guests will really enjoy - I mean, to get interviewed by this guy is probably a dream come true for artists compared to the "average" interviewer.
okay.. I liked HAIM already but this interview sealed the deal for me. definitely need to go out and buy a physical copy of their album soon, it's a great one.
"This is a dream come true" Any artist who respects and is VERY enthusiastic during a Nardwuar interview is cool in my book, regardless of who they are or whether or not I've heard of them. This interview was awesome

Me and her ^ love this song and we love Haim-- and I feel like it just brought us all together for a moment. Thank you for giving that to them and bringing on this magic in our lives.
After binging way more episodes in a single sitting than I care to admit, I now believe I know what Nardwuar’s secret is. You see, to strike a good balance you have to pivot & anchor your dominate leg on the ground while hunching slighting to provide a counterweight. This stance seems to be optimal for holding a freeze frame position almost indefinitely.
I love Este. It's nice to see such a talented and strong young woman. I wish Danielle wasn't so quiet. I'd love to hear more from her. She really fits the profile of a middle child. I wish the other two would shut up so she can speak. She is the lead singer after all.
The more interviews I see, the more I agree with you about her not wanting to talk. It's hard not to think of the lead singer as anything other then the frontwoman.
I know right? I feel her tho cuz I would get tired of answering the same questions all the time, but Alana & Este have so much energy to make up for it haha!
James Hetfield was the lead singer and only started talking 20 years after the band started. Brian Johnson of ACDC never spoke until a few years ago. I can go on with the list.
Gotta say, i thought these girls were real cute and it was a fun interview and dug the respect they had for Nardwuar, but when i watched their show at itunes festival just now I found Danielle (forgive if not how its spelled) to be absolutely powerful. The emotion she pours in to the songs is rarely seen in female musicians today.And highly recommend their live shows over recordings, live just shines more.
I think you should get a boom mike because it's frustrating to watch 3 girls and miss parts. But you could of course still use a mic because it's part of your shtick. Keep doin' what you do! I saw your Ted Talk and you're an inspiration! :D
@rayasnegroovejas they most certainly are, I hear a lot of KOL in their stuff with a really good mix of percussion. I just thought it was weird that a band being able to crescendo and decrescendo together was so fascinating
